Happy Halloween!

Garett: Army Guy
Carson: Fred Flinstone
Jaxon: Ninja
Kelsi: Tinkerbell

This was the first year the kids went trick or treating by themselves! Carson and Garett were terrific and brought Kelsi and Jaxon home alive and with buckets of Candy to boot! I actually MADE Carson's costume with an actual sewing machine! I made 4 whole seams...and the rest is glued.
I stayed home and handed out candy. I actually really like to do that. I think it's fun. Andy watched a football game while he carved pumkins. It was even pretty good weather. The rain held off till later in the night. It was indeed a Happy Halloween.

This morning while combing Jaxon's hair for church he looked in the mirror and said, "I tell you mom...I DO look GOOD!"

This week while discussing whether Carson should go to his soccer game or Young Men's, I asked him, "What are you doing at Young Men's?" He said, "We are making goals for our Duty to God program." I said, "That's kind of important don't you think?" He said, "Mom! I'll be makin' goals all night long" (at soccer). He went to his soccer game...but did not make a goal.

Jaxon: At dinner one night he said to me, "Hit me with some peaches, Dinnuh!" (Earlier this summer he realized that my name was spelled DINA and felt it should be pronounced, Dinnuh.)
