It's time

I'm pretty sure the only person who reads this is my mom. Sorry mom, I've been a slacker! It's time to update the o'l blog. Over the last year, every time I came on my blog it depressed me. I didn't want to come to terms that my life in Grenada has come and gone. How do I top that? My pictures aren't going to be as colorful or full of blonde hair, tan skinned children. I've finally come to terms (it only took a year) that my life is back to the norm. Affordable groceries, air conditioning, no mosquito's and an abundance of whatever I need whenever I want. Not so bad if you ask me. Thanks, America!

Our home for the last year has been in Lodi, CA.

 I never knew this place existed until a year ago. We are surrounded by the most adorable farms and vineyards. It's to bad I don't drink wine because this would be the place to do it.

The location is actually pretty amazing. We have San Fran, Santa Cruz, the beach, Yosemite, Tahoe, Napa, Sacramento, Big Trees all within a short drive. Anywhere from 20 mins to a couple hours. This last year has been a big adjustment to us all but it quickly became a place we call home.
