Adventures to Mt. Carmel waterfalls
On Saturday we went to one of the waterfalls on the island. It was a short hike and absolutely beautiful! At one of the falls you could slide down it. There was a place to cliff jump and it was big enough to swim around. We all slide down the waterfall and Aaron and Ezra cliff jumped. I wish we could have gotten more pictures and videos but our camera batteries were dead but luckily we had Aaron's phone. His battery was low so we could only get a few but that's better than nothing.

Separation anxiety
It's no secret that my boys like Aaron more than me.This isn't a complaint it just is what it is. I figure if they like someone more than me it should be their dad. So, since we aren't living in two different countries anymore the boys have been in daddy heaven. Life is good for them but heaven forbid Aaron leave the house. The other night Aaron went out with some friends to watch a football game and when he went to leave Lincoln broke down. This is after being with him all day every day since we moved to Grenada. It took a while for him to calm down. Ever since then if Aaron leaves and Lincoln knows he is going to be longer than 10 mins. he breaks down. Aaron left tonight to go study and it took Lincoln 20 mins to calm down. Can a 5 year old have separation anxiety? I feel so bad for Lincoln and Aaron. I know it's hard on Aaron to see Lincs like that. I'm not sure what to do about it yet. Poor kid.

Bugs
The not so great thing about tropical places is bugs. Grenada is no exception. We were greeted to our home by a centipede. Lucky for us it was dead but still.
We have these crazy scary spiders outside our family room windows. I don't even know what kind they are. All I know is that they are big and scary.
Then there are the spiders in out house. They are all over but they keep to themselves and they are small and harmless.
So far I have been lucky to not see any cockroaches in the house but Aaron has. Both times they were coming out of our shower drain and Aaron said they were huge. Ugh. I shutter just thinking about it. Oh and we have flying ants that seem to come and go.
Then outside we have lizards which I love. Eat the roaches little guys. Last but not least, Mosquitoes! I hate them. I look like I have some crazy disease because of them. Lincoln and I must taste good because we are the ones who have the most bites. We have learned not to be outside at dusk. That's when they come out. Oh and the boys room had bed bugs. Thank goodness we got rid of them and got new mattresses and disinfected everything so hopefully it won't be a problem again. Welcome to Paradise!
