Projects

I'M OBSESSED WITH PINTEREST!!!!!  I can't get enough of pinterest lately.  I'm so glad my friends Shae and Savanah got me hooked on it.  I have tons of websites with good ideas, yummy food, and crafts that I finally decided last weekend I was going to experiment with some of them.  I have tried some of the food and most of them were good.  The ones that weren't I deleted so I didn't make the mistake of making them again.  So my first craft I tried was dying mason jars.  Now it seemed really simple and I already had the supplies but in the end they didn't turn out as good as I had hoped but still they did work.  I didn't follow the instructions completely which is why I think they didn't turn out as well.  Oh well.

I saw on pinterest this idea so I used the dyed mason jar I just made and found the little voltive (not sure if that is the right word) at Joanns and put the Q-tips and cotton balls in.  This helped make my guest bathroom look complete.

This is the red mason jar that I dyed.  I'm trying to get us to have a date night once a month and it seems like when we do go on dates we do the same ol' dinner and a movie thing.  I want different ideas so I found a ton of ideas from expensive to super cheap.  On pinterest this girl had this cute jar that had popsickle sticks in it with the ideas written on them.  She uses this for the nights of "What should we do for our date".  I'm hoping this will help us come up with some fun and creative dates.

Finally this is my last idea from pinterst that I wanted to try.  I have all these necklaces and bracelets but no where to put them.  They have been in the box I packed them in from the old house just waiting to be put on display.  Kyle has wanted to get me a jewlery box but I just don't have anywhere to put it.  So I saw the idea of using a rake to hang them on and LOVED the idea.  It fits in so perfect with the theme of our house that I just had to do it.  Plus it was perfect for my scarves too.  I'm so glad that I finally put some of the ideas from pinterest to use.
