{FREEBIE} Scraps N’ Pieces Store Anniversary Blog Hop!

SNPs anniversary celebration is almost over but we have one last challenge for you. There are two steps to this challenge. The first step is to hop around to each of the participating designers' blogs and collect the pieces of the mini we've created for you. Here's a preview of the mini: After you've collected all of the pieces (there are 16 so make sure you have 16 pieces) we'd like you to create a layout using ALL of the pieces. You may add pieces that you collected from the facebook hop at the beginning of the month but you must use ALL 16 of the pieces from the blog hop. When you've created your layout you'll need to post it in the correct forum thread and area of the gallery. You have until Oct 31, 2012 at midnight MST to post a layout so you'd better get cracking because there are some awesome prizes! {Cruisin’ With The Mouse"} by Growing Pains Scrapped

So, I had the opportunity to work with this awesome new kit by Tracy of Growing Pains Scrapped and I had so much fun making my layouts!  I have been s-l-o-w-l-y getting layouts of our 2010 Walt Disney World vacation(yes, I know it is now 2012! lol) done and this was great inspiration to get a few more whipped up, so without further ado, check out my pages made with Cruisin’ With The Mouse, followed by previews:

{Nothin’ But Net} kit release by Scraps N’ Pieces

Well, if you have followed me/us for long, you know that I only have girls and find the occasional challenge of making a “boy” themed kit work for my girls interesting.  So, when I saw Nothin’ But Net from the girls of Scraps N’ Pieces, I knew I could make it work for me!  They did a great job on the themed basketball elements (as usual!), but provided plenty of non-themed basic elements for ANY layout you want to create.  If you saw just my layout without knowing the name of the kit, you’d lose money betting that it wasn’t a basketball kit…hehehe!  So, take a peek at the kit preview, I linked it up to the Scraps N’ Pieces store for easy shopping:

And, I’ve also created a little freebie for you, it’s something a little different than my normal freebies…who has an iPhone?  I do and I *love* it!  Two of my brothers, my husband, my mom, my brother-in-law and his wife, plus my father-in-law ALL have iPhones—we are all big fans and since I thought we’re not the only ones and that I might not be the only one that was in need of an updated wallpaper, I’m sharing the one I made with you!  Click the preview to begin the direct download (not 4shared) and then when you sync your phone (or, since I never do that, you can also email it to yourself and then open your email from your iPhone to save it) you can find the image in your camera roll and choose ‘Save As Wallpaper’ from the options there.  Hope you enjoy!

Our dedicated fans will be seeing lots of this kit all week—blogs, store forums, facebook, everywhere!  Starting 11/14, there will be 24-hour download links on our blog and on the Scraps N’ Pieces blog (scrappinwithlori.blogspot.com) to get both kits for FREE!  :)  So, before that begins, here’s the scoop…

Now, if you prefer not to wait on the daily downloads, or in case you miss a day, you can get the kit on sale all week.  Both the ADD and SNP parts will be $2.50, so you are getting two full kits, including two sets of different cardstocks, plus glitter sheets, for a total that is still less than full price for just one of the kits!  Talk about a steal!?!?  In case that isn’t enough to get you excited, let’s take a look at all of the fabulous work from our CT members:

A beautiful layout from Amy O, that proves scrapbook pages don’t *HAVE* to have photos:

And, a pretty, almost monochromatic layout from Brooke (love the excellent clustering and pops of yellow!):

Here are two precious pages that Denise created--isn’t the series of photos just darling and the effect on the “sketched” one is awesome!

Lindsay is next, and she did a great job using all those patterns, but keeping the pages from being overwhelming by grounding them with the light solid backgrounds!

After Lindsay, comes Lori, and can I just say that I am SO glad that she asked us about collaborating on this kit?!?!  I absolutely love the way both kits turned out.  If you consider buying/downloading one part, having the other is a MUST!  Lori did a fabulous job scraplifting her first layout with information about her everyday routine and I love the paper layers on her second one using all SNP parts, can you figure out where her inspiration for the kit came from?  ;)  And, for her third layout, check out the fabulous clustering and the cute ribbon tied onto the alpha title:                         

The next layout to share is one by Meleah, with some superb use of white space and a great combination of the alpha with a font for the title.  Don’t you love how the ‘stamped’ embellishments look like they are really stamped right onto her layout?   

Keeping with the alphabetical order I’m working in, we find Tammy’s layouts.  You have to be careful with Tammy’s work, because you’ll see in the first layout she has a nice, happy-go-lucky feeling and when you get into the journaling on the second one, be sure to have a box of tissues handy, because she sneaks up on you with all that heartfelt, gooey stuff!  Seriously, though, I had to take a break from reading it so I wouldn’t cry!               

I don’t know what it was about this kit that had so many people scrapping sappy pages, but AmyO and Tammy weren’t the only two…AmyJ, you know, with her perfect journaling, had me reaching for the tissues again!  I know some of the story, but that doesn’t make it any easier to read it without tearing up!  Made me glad to see her other layout didn’t have any journaling on it at all, these girls are leaving me emotionally exhausted!  Just don’t say I didn’t warn you!  ;) 

Now, be sure to watch for all the download links this week, and I hope you don’t get tired of this kit by Friday, because this is definitely one of my favorite sets of kits ever and we have more to share!  Hope you enjoy…
