Watercolor Bouquet of Love - a Must Have Set!

I looooove this stamp set, Bouquet of Love, from the July Collection. Yep - it is from the July collection, not August, but guess what?! It's still available and it's worth picking up!

First, it will fill an A2 card. Yep - full-sized right there and isn't it fantastic!

Second, it has a matching die, which is also still available!!

Third, it has awesome sentiments that fit in the space on the pitcher. I didn't use any of them on this project but you totally could. :)

4th, this stamp set will work for get well, sympathy, anniversary, birthday, thinking of you, hello, just because, friendship, new baby and so much more!

And, you can watercolor it in so many different colors. Check out some variations. I can't get enough of the Peerless Watercolors!

Hope this inspires you to play with your watercolors or think about making a super small investment in some. The more you practice, the better you'll get with them. I cut the Peerless sheets into fourths and use a quarter sheet at a time. They last so long as you barely have to dab your waterbrush in them to pick up the color - super concentrated! And, they're so easy to travel with and use wherever you go. I watercolored both the grey pitcher and red pitcher images above in the Chicago O'Hare airport while our plane kept getting delayed and delayed and delayed. It was a great way to pass the time. And, I also watercolored on a balcony in the Smoky Mountains. Isn't this a great place to color?

All supplies are A Muse Studio and are available in my webstore: www.amusestudio.com/seleise

Mason Jar - Wishing You Well

Oh my gosh - have I really not posted for a month? My apologies! Late summer is a really busy time at my full-time job and there were some extra family things too so I guess this went to the way-side. So sorry! August is still a crazy time and then it should get back to normal busy and not insanely busy. :)
The mason jar set is one of my favorites from the monthly collections that came back to the main catalog. Not only are the stamps great but the matching dies are FANTASTIC too! I love the mason jar cut out of shell cardstock. Fern leaves and heather flowers from Mini Blooms pop out of the jar for a happy bouquet for someone not feeling well. A few sugar pearl stickers add some interest to the blooms and check out the fantastic heather baker's cording that finishes off the look of the card.

And, isn't it gorgeous paired up with the pebble cardstock, pebble petite hexagon cardstock and the pebble polka dot cardstock? It's now one of my favorite color combos - pebble, heather and fern. I cut the frame out of the coaster board and hexagon cardstock at the same time. I love the little bit of thickness the coaster board adds to the frame.
Here's the inside. Isn't it happy! Flowers everywhere and happy thoughts.

All of the products are a muse studio and can be found in my webstore: www.amusestudio.com/seleise

I'm in a Wasabi State of Mind... Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

OK - too much wasabi (the paper color, that is) is going to my brain. lol! I don't usually use much wasabi but it was on top of the pile and I didn't feel like digging so there you go. lol!

Here's another coffee card for the Summer Coffee Lover's Blog Hop and guess what, it's made with...wait for it... WASABI! lol!

This is not the coffee card (that's further down the post) but it's the jumping off point for the card. This is a card from my June card class. I love the bees from Bee Happy flying around the flower from Mini Blooms and isn't it great on the hexagon background? And, what about the wasabi and hibiscus color combo -it is so happy!

Here's the inside - sweet and simple.
I loved the combo so much that I pulled out the Perk Up die and decided to do a version of the card but with a coffee twist.
Lichen is the background color for the hexagon border and I pulled the stamp pad across the background image to distress it up and then added the black ink. The vanilla twine finishes it off. It's such a great card for someone who is ill or feeling down or just a coffee loving friend.
Here's a close-up of the happy little coffee cup. Isn't it fun?

You've got one more day to join in the hop so hope you'll ink up a coffee stamp and join in on the fun. All the details are here: http://coffeelovingcardmakers.com/2015/06/summer-coffee-lovers-blog-hop/

Get Well - Clean and Simple

Clean and simple cards can be a very good thing, especially when putting them in the mail. This is one of those cards. It's a vanilla card base with a vanilla layer on top. It uses the Valentine's set - All for Love, vanilla pearl stickers and some memento cocoa brown  and a muse apple ink.
Here's the inside. Simple and ready for a message.

Sneak peeks are coming soon but I'll be mixing them in with other posts.
