Home, but not really
Like I mentioned in our last post, we're back in our house in Riverton. It's bittersweet really. I love having our own place, knowing I can paint and design however I want, and finally being able to enjoy the hard work we've put into the property. The downside being how much WORK it takes to own a home. We've been in for a month and a half now, and already the weeds have taken over, it's dusty inside and the dishes are piling up, and I still haven't made it to the paint store to cover up the patches of paint I left on my bedroom wall A YEAR AGO!!!
So why have I let everything go, you ask? Well, it's because we're. never. home. Ever. It might be because it's summer, and our summers are always busy. But it also might be because we have the best friends and family around and just can't help but hang out with them whenever we can!
Thus far, it's been a:
Lake Powelling
Cornrow wearing/Drug lord looking
Little Pixie blessing/snuggling
Triathlon-ing
Sexy leg-ging
First place winning (little bro)
kind of summer.
Not pictured would be lots of summer dinners with family and friends, WSU fireworks, packing up sister and family for a move to AZ, seeing Tarzan at Tuacahn, and trying to get some rest in while my body gets used to the extra weight and growing basketball in my belly.
Good times, friends. Good times.
