Georgia and I had some time to burn before Chloes' confirmation so we stopped off at our local churchyard and took some pretty photos in the evening sun/rainclouds!!
I never ever use straighteners.....weddings and christenings I told the horrified hairdresser!!In our house at the moment everything is all about the Kitchen, Kitchness and Kitchenalia!! Basically we are going Kitch mad!!
I got some pretty glasses from Next that are the same design as Cath Kidston only cheaper. (the red and blue ones)
A beautiful apron from TK Maxx for less than a fiver...seriously I couldn't make one for that price with all the detail and ric-rac on it. (you can't see it here but it has a very sexy and revealing neckline!!)

Georgia loves to put on a sling and go outside and pretend to all of her friends that she has hurt her arm!
Then last Monday (during the school holidays) less than 24 hours after buying her own pair of Heelies (with mothers consent and fathers disapproval) she actually did break her arm...and sure enough when she went out to show her freinds they all thought she was FAKING IT!!
Today she returned to school and for the first day back and she had to dress like a character from a Circus, as thats the theme they are studying this term.
We had thought about juggling and hoola hoops but I found this outfit in Tescos and thought she could wear it again (probably with jeans and not those hideous leggings!!). After borrowing a beret' we were sorted....now all she had to do was keep a straight face and really start to act like she was faking it........note the climbing rope pose!!
...amd left a sticky mess everywhere......

It was all going so well..........
After a week of illness, high temps, countless doctors visits etc....it was Bens 2nd birthday yesterday.
He was well enough to enjoy the day....not that we did much or that he understood what was happening, but he loved his new toys and beamed at the candles on the cake!!
At the last minute I decided to make him a chocolate cake and he had no sooner blown out the candles then he crashed asleep in the corner of the lounge on a pillow. He has never ever done this before so I couldn't resist taking a photo to tease him with when he is older!!
I have done absolutely NO CRAFTING all week whilst my little bundle of heat has been laying on my tummy!!
So I finally get a day off from being a Mum and have to go the dentist....what a waste of perfectly good crafting time!!

Vanilla Sugar is a new challenge blog that hopes to challenge you to try other craft mediums each month.The aim is to get you to make, sew and craft items for the home or altered art projects rather than the usual cards and layouts! Januarys challenge is to use coasters aka Beer Mats!!

We had a wee photo session done at out local Sure Start Childrens Centre and My Mum (in New Zealand) has requested I update my other blog with some photos of her Grandchildren. This ones for you Mum xxx
Some of the ladies from a different one had completed a photography course ( yup I am green, green, green with envy) and they spent 2 days in a makeshift studio taking photos of our kids for a very reasonable price and a CD with all the photos on it too...perfect for a scrapbooker!!
I took my own props..My Grandfathers antique wooden childs chair........
A large flower with a clip-on bird..unfortunately it fell off its perch!!
The ladies had a bubble machine that caught Bens eye......so much it took him off to another planet.....
The football kit photo is purely for my husband!! Becauase we love him even when his team aren't playing well (shhh) ......Go Liverpool!!
The bike was already in the play room I just liked the design of it. Do you remember when I got 3 of these cabinets for only .50p each?..... 
My friend suffers from an extremely difficult to treat skin condition on her face which causes her to look like she has severe acne........so I want her to remember when she is feeling down that "beauty lies within" and not to give a sh*t about other peoples hurtful comments and cr*p doctors who won't sort her out once and for all and send her to see a skin specialist!
These next 2 photos are probably the ones I will treasure the most...as soon as I clicked I knew I had the money shot!!...and the one of Georgia and I was taken by Georgias' friend who was also in the photo shoot...it's very rare to have photos of me and certainly not publish(able) ones, but I am going to make an exception for once......make-up less and all!
