birthday shout-outs have not been my forte this past year. so i figure i should attempt to do so again starting with my bccffe Lei-nan.

she's 20!! watch out boys and girls!
buns and i used to write poetry via email at work when she worked at apx. in honor of the good old days...here is my attempt to wish her some birthday wishes through some verse.

dear bestest friend leinan,

you're twenty and and your hair is still long.

thanks for laying in the grass,

while leaving prints of your bum.

cruisin' at the park,

and singing luther in the car.

for the late night runs to good old del

where our eyes like to spout and we like to tell

all of our stories of woes and of boys

of school and desires or a lame-sauce choice.

life has been so great with you,

nah seriously, koo-koo-ka-choo!

all of the days when i needed a friend,

you were always there, there til the end.

i could not have been more blessed to have you,

so happy birthday baby girl! i love you!
