Something new?

I have been waiting for something new to happen to blog about it. Nothing really all that new has happened and it has been almost five months since I last posted so I guess you'll be subjected to ramblings and run on sentences. Welcome to my life :)

I guess the newest thing is the birth of my niece. I was able to be in the deliver room and got to deliver her even! It was pretty cool. When they broke the water it was obvious that there was some merconium so my instructions from the mid wife were: If the baby comes out crying give her to mom, if she isn't crying give her to the nurse. Her little head came out and I proceded to pull her the rest of the way out when before her torso even cleared the canal she belts out at the top of her lungs. I smiled and the midwife rolled her eyes and said, give her to momma. Momma was already sitting up trying to reach for her. It was a sweet moment. She was a healthy hefty size.

Matt was accepted to the Missouri bar and sworn in a month or so ago. That was an exciting time. It was sweetened by the fact that our friend and neighbor who has been a support to our family through all this was permitted to be the one to swear Matt in! I took a few pics, which if I was smarter I would be able to attach to this posts, but I'm not so you'll have to imagine it. Maybe I can figure it out in the next five years.

I am looking forward to summer vacation when I won't have to get up so early and wake kids up for school. Man, they are beasts when they don't get enough sleep. It is amazing the difference in dispositions when one wakes up naturally vs being prodded.

Another milestone for us is that our youngest turned 1! The even bigger and more surprising news is that we have a one year old and I am not pregnant! We'll see how long that lasts for.

I knew if I just started writing I would find something to bore my non existent readers with! I should try and plan this better that way I have things worth reading. I need to write down all the funny things so that you can catch a laugh when you come on to my page.
