25th

How I spent my 25th.

PL picked me up for our chiro appt. The cracking and massaging was slightly unbearable due to the soreness in my muscles.

Then I met mr. jh for my birthday lunch. Turns out shokudo at heeren wasn't shokudo but a jap buffet. I was in no condition for a buffet. Walked down orchard searching for food before settling in the queue for Tanpopo taka. I stood in the queue wondering about how it would be like to finally be seated and having to go through the process of ordering, waiting and eating. Decided I was not up for it, so we headed for home.

It was surprising to see a long queue for taxis at Taka on a Sat afternoon, but being good model citizens, we waited in line. As I stood there, an ominous feeling was creeping back. It was exactly how I felt before I fainted previously. I started to lose my hearing as my ears were blocked. I tried to tell mr. jh but I couldn't.

Then, I woke up to the smell of medicated oil which a lady had generously applied on me. I was still standing, supported by mr. jh. He quickly moved me to the front of the queue and got on a cab. I was having a flu viral infection which caused a fever of 38.6, sorethroat and cough.

So I slept the rest of my day away. Happy belated 25th birthday to me.
