Hi Everybody! I hope you are having a great day! Today I'm playing along with the new blog challenge page - I Spy Sketches - this is their 2nd sketch challenge. When I saw the pennant design with the banner across the bottom, I knew this would make a fun birthday card. I used a chalkboard look paper by October Afternoon and some bright pink accents (twine, rhinestone flower center and felt flowers) to make the color really pop! I hope that you have some time to play along this week - you can get all the challenges here: http://ispysketches.blogspot.com/2012/02/issc02-with-beate-johns.html.
This is a close up of my twine peg bow and the double layer tag. I softly distressed the edges with Tim Holtz Spun Sugar.I appreciate your taking the time to have a better look!

Oh my gosh, Jeanne....that baker's twine flower is to die for! And I'm loving that big pennant, and the colors. That patterned paper is awesome, too :)
I LOVE this one Jeanne. That chalkboard paper and the twine flower are so great. I love all the little touches on this one paired with the pennant.
