Two thumbs up for LAKE POWELL!!! Good Food, friends and fun!!

Lake Powell....our favorite family spot. We took our friends the Albrechtsens and the Griffins...We had such a blast with everyone. The kids all had a riot together. Wow is it really true that we are all old enough to have kids ranging from 19 years old all the way down to 5!!! (one of each age) wow!! We had a full boat!!!

Our Summer started off on a "perfect" vacation to Kauai for Jordan's graduation and hasn't slowed down since.....

Duke's second night at his new home. He's sleeping with his blankie and his pillow!! How cute...

The kids are loving the puppy!! This is the closest Jake has gotten to Duke. (and Jordan is physically holding onto Jake so he won't move) Help, I hope he get's over this jealous streak fast!!

We have a new member of our family. We thought it would be wise to bring on a puppy since Jake is reaching the ripe age of 14 this year. We're all a little surprised of Jake's reaction to "Duke". He doesn't want a thing to do with him and is giving us the cold shoulder. We are hoping that he'll get over it soon. He's even reverting to child-like behavior and decided to "piddle" on the carpet which has not been done EVER!! Regardless of Jake's behavior we are all having a blast with Duke. He's a doll and seems a lot like Jake as a puppy. Mellow, sweet, but still playful enough!!
