No Baby, Baby, Baby, Oooo...yet

I just realized that I haven't even blogged about being pregnant...
Wow, I really stink at this whole blogging thing.

Well, let me get you up to date.

We are having a baby. A girl. I was due Aug. 24, a couple days ago. Sure thought she would be here by now, but we'll take her when we can get her. Her name is gonna be Lindy (my maiden name with a slight spelling alteration- was Linde) Elizabeth (Andrew's mom's middle name) Borders. I have had a pretty easy pregnancy so far. The hardest part for us was getting pregnant. We have been trying for 2 years with no luck. So when we moved to Kalispell last year, we were referred to a doctor by a friend. When we met her we instantly felt a connection. Our doctor herself couldn't have children for 5 years so we felt she understood where we were coming from and could help us out. And we were right. She prescribed Clomid, a fertility drug, and in the very first month it worked! What a blessing that was! Normally it takes 3-4 months for Clomid to work, so we considered ourselves lucky.

As for the pregnancy...I have thrown up only once and it was a couple weeks ago (I think my body is as ready to be done with this pregnancy as I am). I did have dull nausea and no energy the first 14 weeks, but then felt great until about week 32, I think. I got tired again at that point. But my blood pressure has been low, stayed within a normal range of weight gain, haven't had any swelling and worked up until last Friday. This week has been great and stress-free! Yesterday, Andrew and I finally put the nursery together (crib, hung up decor, etc.).

Here are some pictures of the pregnancy and nursery...Enjoy!!

Oh and I just went to the doctor and I'm having contractions about 5 mins apart and they are getting progressively stronger so we think she will make her appearance tonight! I promise it won't be another 7 months until I post a picture of our little girl and family of 3!
