The Dog

As much as I dislike Roman, he is a good dog. The kids and Brent absolutely love him. I thought I'd share a few photos of him. The photo of Beckham and Roman is of them sharing an apple. Kelli watched the kids a few months ago, when there wasn't any snow, and she caught them sharing a sucker outside. Beckham would take a lick, then Roman would take a lick. Oh the things I put up with to allow him to stick around.

Alleah

On December 13th our first niece was born. After a long 3 year wait and a successful Invetro, Cory and Kelli had their beautiful daughter. She was 8lbs 1oz and 21 inches long. I am so thrilled for them!!! And I'm more excited that they had a girl. Now our little girl that is going to be born in February will have a fun playmate. Not that there's anything wrong with boys. Congratulations to Cory and Kelli. We know that they are going to be wonderful parents!!!!

Annual Wood Progressive Dinner

Since Mike and Donna moved out here to Utah we have continued the tradition of a progressive dinner. From the instance of Cory. We usually do it around Christmas Eve. Since Kelli is due any minute, and we are spending Christmas Eve with my family, we did it early this year. And due to a flat tire on our Suburban, the progression was cut short at our home. We didn't want to drive our ghetto van with the broken out window on the freeway. Not to bright if the tapped up garbage bag blew off and the kids got to play freeze out. So we started out at Cory and Kelli's and ended up at our home for Dinner and Dessert. We had a great time. Day in and day out I look in the mirror and think I'm doing just fine with this pregnancy. Then I look at pictures and want to drop to the floor with surprise. I am not happy with what pregnancy does to my poor face and body. But it will be all worth it. I'm glad I got a picture with Kelli. She looks GREAT!!!! She is just all belly. We can't wait for her to finally get that little on here.

Book Club

My sister wanted to see how my cake turned out. So the rest of you are lucky enough to see it too. It's a white cake with lemon curd and cream cheese frosting. Along with the cake I served a dollop of strawberry mousse. Yummy.

A First

With every child they experience a "first". This past month both Isabel and Annika lost their first tooth. I am so excited for them.

Flashback

Beckham loves to play with Roman. They wrestle a lot with each other. When I was done with Isabel and Annika's video they started in on one of their sessions. I just had to film it. But what happens was so hilarious to me. I think I've been so stressed out these past few weeks that I needed a good laugh, and they provided me with one this morning.
