A Night of Broadway

Emily and Natalie spent the past 10 weeks rehearsing for their parts in our Stake Musical. On Friday and Saturday, we were treated to the result of all their hard work as we watched their performance.
The girls were in the "Annie" medley, which included the songs Hard Knock Life, Maybe, and The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow.
Here's a clip from Hard Knock Life.
Em had a dancing part and Nat sang a small solo.
They did such a fantastic job!
We're proud of you, girls! :o)

A BIG thanks to my friend Dianne for saving the day (and what was left of my sanity) by lending us an orphan costume for Natalie. You're the best! :o)
Also, thanks to Dave and Kathy for being the costume delivery service! :o)

What talented girls! It looks like they had fun up there on stage. Nat's solo was great (but a little too short, if you ask me), and Emily's dancing was darling. And I LOVED the costumes--your girls looked like REAL LIVE orphans :)
Dianne
Hours and hours of practice and running and juggling schedules and gathering costumes and it's over...but the outcome was so worth it!(Easy for me to say, I know.) Many talents and many great performances, the best of which were my beautiful and talented Emmy Kate and Natty Ann!
Great job! Love you.
How cute!!! They did a great job!
That was a lot of fun to watch Marianne. Your girls have grown so much! What a neat experience for them to be in a play. Tell Nat that she sounded great! Emily's moves were great too!
They did so well! I know they put a lot of time into that (as did you) so I hope they were proud of what they did!
what a voice! That is really impressive. You could really see Emily's years of gymnastics training at work. Your kids always look like orphans! ;)
Wow, I think I see some of your genes coming through on those girls Marianne. They were AMAZING. I loved Natalies solo but agree with Dianne that it was way to short!
