Testimony Giveaway!

~Giveaway is closed~

What do you get when you mix 5 Line Reviews, 5 copies of Testimony by Anita Shreve, and 5 lucky readers? You get my first giveaway hosted here and three 5s. ^_^

Testimony: A Novel
Description: At a New England boarding school, a sex scandal is about to break. Even more shocking than the sexual acts themselves is the fact that they were caught on videotape. A Pandora's box of revelations, the tape triggers a chorus of voices--those of the men, women, teenagers, and parents involved in the scandal--that details the ways in which lives can be derailed or destroyed in one foolish moment.

Writing with a pace and intensity surpassing even her own greatest work, Anita Shreve delivers in TESTIMONY a gripping emotional drama with the impact of a thriller. No one more compellingly explores the dark impulses that sway the lives of seeming innocents, the needs and fears that drive ordinary men and women into intolerable dilemmas, and the ways in which our best intentions can lead to our worst transgressions.

  1. I'd love to win this book. If I were caught doing something wrong on tape then I think the only thing I could do is fess up, being caught on video is pretty solid evidence. Well, maybe I would fess up IF I failed in destroying said tape. :p

    Thanks for the giveaway.

  3. I really love Anita Shreve, so I really want to read this book.

I really don't know what I'd do, I guess it depends what I was caught doing. I'd probably lie and make up a story to make it look like I was doing someting different if that was possible.

I'd so love to win this book, it sounds like a gripping novel! Well, if I caught someone doing something wrong on tape, my reaction would very much depend on several factors, such as: is someone or something being harmed, would my intervention make matters better or worse, etc.

I'm not one to pass much judgment, but neither do I tolerate the innocent getting hurt.

Thanks for a super giveaway :)

  11. I'd like to read this since I'm a great Shreve fan. If I were caught doing something wrong on tape, I'm sure it wouldn't be something illegal, immoral or unethical. I would just have to be honest about my conduct and make amends, as appropriate.
