How to add labels to a post

For those new to blogging, here's the way to add a label:
(Any other blog has a similar way to add a label/tag)

    I have put the label on and I think connected to my blog.

    I've added the 29 faces label (just that one to make it easier for me) and tried to link, but everything I try doesn't seem to work. I wrote all the instructions out so that I would do the right thing, but .....

    In the instructions above you say Type post normally, add the label (as I always do, so that bit is OK) and click done, and you are ready to post'. My problem - having clicked 'done' I don't know what to do next, and I've run out of ideas!

    Sorry Martha, I'm so inept at all these blogging technicalities. I think I need a 5 year old grandchild, but my grandchildren are not obliging so far. I hope you can help me. Thanks.

    Martha - Success, I've managed it. I was emailing Carmen, and e-friend, and asked her since she had already linked, and she told me the magic bit I was missing. Sorry to have bothered you, and I do look forward to September and all the lovely faces I'll see.
