For my second project I made a set of 2 cards using Rosalie collection again.

For the background I played with A6 Paper Pad for cardmaking, and though its size is smaller than the size of my card base, I\ve managed to incorporate them to cover the full base.

I\ve also made fussy cutting and used the elements from Ephemera Paper elements.

To create a texture I used my favorite Night Flowers Stencil, gel medium colored with Yellow Amber Dye based watercolor Powder. After it has dried on the surface, I applied silver Pearl Acrylic paint. and the final step was to add the Magenta accent by adding Vivid Magenta Paint, that I muted with water for more translucent effect.

To create more layers and texture I added the chipboard pieces - the cage and the rose flower, and topped Beautiful chipboard piece with Gold Microspheres

I'm inspired by the cards and I find pleasure in creating them again. It's even more pleasant that I grabbed a set of papers and paper ephemeras in the "Rosalie" collection and the card practically did itself.

Samą bazę ozdobiłem dwoma wzorami papierów tworząc dwie warstwy. Dopiero na nich zacząłem tworzyć kompozycję.

I decorated the base itself with two paper patterns, creating two layers. It was only on them that I started to create a composition.

Kompozycję ułożyłem zarówno z elementów wyciętych z dużego arkusza papieru jak i z papierowych dodatków dopasowanych do kolekcji. Wybrałem ramki, klatki, róże i motyle.

I arranged the composition both from elements cut from a large sheet of paper and from paper ephemeras matched to the collection. I chose frames, cages, roses and butterflies

Na koniec uzupełniłem kompozycję tekturką z napisem "W dniu urodzin".

Finally, I completed the composition with a cardboard with the words "On my birthday".

Hi!

It's Agnieszka Bellaidea today with several  cards. As you can see I used new and older collections. 

My first card was made for a lovely friend of mine, she loves roses so I hope she will like it.

Second card with travel theme in mind was created with Travel the world collection.

Next 3 cards are result of taking mini vacations with little bag of 13arts supplies. I paint tiny pictures with watercolors  and add them later on to bigger sitze cards.

On my cat card I used

My name is Elena Olinevich and I am from Belarus. I have been a passionate scrapbooker for the past 10 years and still can't imagine my life without crafting. I tried almost everything - mixed media, cardmaking, papercraft, watercolors and so on, however I always pay attention to small and tiny details and prefer to keep my projects feminine and delicate.

 For my intro post I made a layout using the beautiful Rosalie collection.

I love the colors and the rose theme it has. so I focused on the roses, frames and made a little fussy cutting too.

To add the texture on my background I used the stencil Night Flowers and Acrylic Gel medium with BordoDye -based Watercolor Powder. I like the transparency of the gel medium mixed with pink color.

To add the glow - I used Pearl Gold mist

Its diameter is 24 centimeters, and there are many techniques used. Therefore, I shot a video master class for you on its creation.

“Moment in Time” - a layout by Moira Gilowey

It's time to introduce you to our next Guest Designer - Moira Gilowey. Here's what Moira told us about herself and there is also her first beautifu guest project! 

My name is Moira and I live in the beautiful city of Cape Town in South Africa. I have been scrapbooking for just over eight years and, although I do love paper crafting, I also LOVE mixed media and, if I can combine the two, I am a very happy scrapbooker. My go to are vintage and botanical tones, but there are so many products with bright colours out there that are really hard to resist. I am so excited to be included as a Guest Designer for 13 Arts this quarter and to play with their stunning papers and products. I hope that you will enjoy my first project and look forward to sharing with you again soon. Until next time!

For my first project as Guest Designer for 13 Arts, I created this single page layout using the gorgeous papers from the Rosalie collection. I love the soft, vintage tones of these papers which were perfect for this photograph of my mother taken many years ago. I included elements from the Ephemera pack as well as the transparent foil which I cut out and adhered to different areas of my layout.

I tore a piece of corrugated board and adhered this to the left side of my layout and then painted it with a light layer of white gesso.

Stenciling was added to the layout with white modeling paste. I mixed some Tiger Eye Color Glow paint powder to modeling paste and then added some additional stenciling. The leftover brown modeling paste was brushed onto the corrugated board. The chipboard was painted with the Tiger Eye paint powder.

Once the layout was complete, I brushed some of the same paint powder as well as Old Gold Glitter around the composition for depth and definition.

Hello Everyone,

Today i share my final Guest Design project and i used plenty of awesome products by 13@rts.
 It has been an honor to design for this incredible company and be a part of a fantastic group of artists. Here is my final project.

 I started by using 'Secret Letters' from the Rosalie collection as my base sheet. I then chose the stunning Summer Rhapsody stencil and used modeling paste mixed with black acrylic to become the base of my composition.

I tore pieces from the same 'Rosalie' collection and used these as layers in and around my image. I also used a couple of sheets from the A6 card set in among the layers.
Fussy Cutting some of the big Roses out of one of the sheets of paper made a nice contrast from the torn elements and then I chose specific pieces of Ephemera from the 'Unforgettable' collection. These 2 collections work beautifully together.

Once the composition was glued down and i was happy with the arrangement i chose to use A Color Glow in 'Fire Opal', this product is truly amazing, watering it down and applying to my background in a watercolor fashion. I also decided to use it dry and rubbed over my resin elements, which gave them a very pretty shimmer.

Thank you for your support over the last 3 months, i truly want to thank Aida for this amazing opportunity to play and share her awesome products and business. I look forward to continuing to draw inspiration from this extremely talented design team, as i'm sure you will too.
