Impressed Current Cathodic Protection (ICCP) system
This system is used for preventing corrosion of ship’s hull plate including rudder and propeller, contacting with sea water. How this system work is based on electrochemical principle. It can be installed in new ships or old ships that hull’s paint is partly damaged from corrosion. It has been designed based on ship’s total wetted surface area of hull and mean current density. It’s full automatic system.
The ICCP system consists of anodes and electrodes for installation through the hull using penetration arrangements, a power supply unit for location internally and bonding arrangements for attachments such as propeller or rudder.
When this system starts, Power supply unit will automatically transmit current to anode cells by measuring number of electrons lost from reference cells. It can save the cost of renewal of sacrificial anodes to be carry out every vessel’s dry dock
The most efficiently protective current is automatically controlled and dissipated through anodes for the optimum constantly measured by reference cells.

Anti-fouling System : Marine Growth Preventing System (M.G.P.S.)
M.G.P.S is Anti-fouling system to kill marine bio-fouling and to suppress fouling corrosion in pipe work. It has been designed based on the ship’s flow rate, lifetime and dosing rate.
The Cu anode produces copper ions to prevent marine growth and the Al/Fe anode produces anticorrosive layer to suppress corrosion. And the anode between Cu-Al is adopted for steel pipe line and the anodes between Cu-Fe is adopted for non-steel pipe line.
