Challenge #183 - Queues
I'm not a particularly patient person, so long line ups, or queues, as they are known in some countries, are very trying for me. Experts have estimated that the average person spends between 6 months to 2 years of his or her whole life waiting in lines of some kind. Luckily, you don't have to wait in line to enter our challenge this week! You just need to create a card with a line or row of some objects in it! Then click on the linky tool and you're away to the races! Here's the sketch from Amanda:

Here are some guidelines for the challenge:
- Create any card, scrapbooking page, 3D project or packaging project that fits the challenge.
- Feel free to flip or rotate the sketch and to substitute one shape for another but we must still be able to see the sketch in your finished submission.
- Please include the challenge graphic and link back to the challenge in your blog post. Turn off word verification so we can send you lots of feedback. Make sure you link the post not the whole blog to the Linky. Use #AYSI183 when uploading to a public gallery.
- If you’re unsure about ‘the rules’, check the details under the Challenge Guidelines tab.

Winners for Challenge #182 - Divided
So, lots of ways to divide your card front according to our sketch last week. We really enjoyed the variety! It turns out the Design Team was also divided. It was hard to pick just two winners. In accordance with our theme, therefore, we had to divide Top Pick among two people:
Our first Top Pick is: Kathy Schweinfurth
Kathy's sweet back-to-school card is just loaded with academic symbols from book worms to globes to apples for the teacher. Her choices of papers in the background both complimented the images they backed and contrasted with each other to highlight the clever divide between them!

Our second Top Pick is: Jay Soriano
Jay's lovely creation features a marbling effect for the divide and some gorgeously watercoloured blossoms that have an almost ethereal quality to them. An added feature is the cross-stitched texture for the dividing line.
And our Featured Artist is: Pam Sparks
Pam's adorable bunny is actually skating on a 3D divide and everything you see is expertly watercoloured! The Design Team loved the splattered trees in the background, giving the impression of snow falling and the baker's twine pulling the sled along! The whole composition of this card is magic!
Congratulations to our winners and thanks to everyone who played along! I hope you'll come back and check out our new sketch challenge tomorrow! Our winners can pick up their badges on this page and display them with pride on their blogs or sites.

Challenge #182 - Divided
Today we have a funky new sketch challenge by Amanda, that I've called Divided! And you can see why! However you decide to divide your front panel is up to you, but you must keep the integrity of the sketch so that we can recognize it in your creation. Use the Design Team's samples as a guide.
If the Design team is divided, which side are they on anyway?
Here are some guidelines for the challenge:
- Create any card, scrapbooking page, 3D project or packaging project that fits the challenge.
- Feel free to flip or rotate the sketch and to substitute one shape for another but we must still be able to see the sketch in your finished submission.

Winners for Challenge #181 - Obsession
Wow! So papercrafters have a whole range of different obsessions, from craft supplies to techniques to hoarding! No big surprises there! But it was fun turning our obsessions into projects and there were some beauties! Our Design Team obsessed over these two winners:
Our Top Pick is: Jenny Hall
Jenny's obsession with the Stitched Season dies has been put to amazing use here with a shaped, double Z fold card that is beautifully watercoloured and takes your breath away! You've got to visit her blog to see it from all angles! Wow! A worthy obsession indeed!

Jay had the same obsession as Jenny, only he took the whole bundle and created a beautiful watercoloured, layered, clean and crisp design that had the whole Design Team obsessed!! The skill and design sense earned Jay the title of Featured Artist this week!
