Parnassus Books is the independent bookstore for independent people located in Nashville, Tennessee. Ann opened Parnassus in 2011 with her business partner, Karen Hayes, and she took over as the sole owner in the summer of 2022 after Karen’s retirement. (Read all about the start of Parnassus in Ann's own words here!) Parnassus stocks an extensive and exciting selection of books including fiction, non-fiction, children’s, local interests, and the arts. The store also boasts an extensive local author section. All of Ann’s books are signed and can be personalized when purchased from Parnassus.

Ann makes weekly appearances on Parnassus’s social media. On Tuesdays, she joins the Laydown Diaries crew to talk about the week’s new releases, and she can often be found making "new to you" recommendations on Fridays.
