Six Degrees Cooler

She was the coolest one for everyone.

It was not just about her looks.

She dressed uniquely.

She thought and spoke differently.

She was eco-friendly.

The sustainability champion clicked with everyone.

She was a great hostess too.

She hosted parties, events and get-togethers.

Everyone wanted to be friends with her.

They knew that would earn them invites and access to her cool place.

He maligned my name and reputation, and appropriated my creations, claiming them to be his own ideas!

Sandwiched

I felt guilty to be sandwiched between the two.

Perhaps, I was being too conscientious?

The Theme Park

The view from the mountain-top was awesome.
It was the maiden visit of the heiress to the site of her new resort-cum-theme park.

The property was worth millions of dollars.
The plan had been approved and the construction was to commence.

"What will happen to all these exotic trees?" she asked admiring the lush vegetation.

Yes We Can Plant Trees #AToZChallenge

The Weeping Cedar Woman of Tofino in Vancouver Island,
Sheds tears as forests are under threat from (in)human hand.
What right do we have to harm what we didn’t grow?
Her out-stretched hand conveys what we already know-

Earth Hour

She had spent many years planting saplings that had grown into a lush forest.

When they set fire and burnt the forest, that too during Earth Hour, she felt that not only the forest, but human values and intelligence had also been engulfed in flames...
