Easter Bunny Cards

Easter is only a few days a way!  I heard there is a big snowstorm possibly heading our way which might affect our plans, so I'm hoping it goes somewhere else.  I knew with Easter being so early that snow would be a possibility.  I wish Easter had a definite date on the calendar and didn't move around so much!  Mid-April would be the perfect time to celebrate Easter!

I do have some cute Easter cards to share with you today.  I've had these adorable images in my stash for years, and this is the first time I have ever used them.  They are by Peachy Keen Stamps and called "Easter Bunnies".

Are they not the cutest Easter Bunnies you've ever seen?  There are three cute bunnies in this set, but I only needed two cards...it was hard to choose which bunny to use;  I love them all!

I kept my cards clean and simple and let the bunnies take center stage.  For this card, I just stamped this sweetie directly onto white card stock, and colored him in with Copic Markers.

The only embellishment I used was a light blue organza bow and a strip of designer paper on the bottom of the page.

My next card is also clean and simple, but I put a little more work into it.

The bunny image was stamped, colored, cut out and mounted on dimensionals over the eggs.

The egg shapes came from retired Stampin' Up! "A Good Egg".  I simply stamped the egg shape onto three different colors of pastel paper ( Brocade Blue, So Saffron, and Pretty in Pink), then cut them out.  The flowers were cut with the same shades of paper using a Cuttlebug Flower die.

I then just glued all the eggs to plain white card stock and adhered that to a blue card base.  The sentiment on both cards is from the same retired SU! set.

Have a Great Day!  Amy

  1. Both of these cards are adorable :) What a fun and relaxing hobby. It is going to be 56 here for Easter, so not really Easter-dress kind of weather. Such a bummer. I agree, it should have a standing date in mid-April!
