Vector:

The Vector is a subclass for AbstractList class which is similar like ArrayList. But it has synchronized methods for retrieving and changing the vector.

  • The synchronized method avoids the data corruption at that time of accessing and modifying the vector by two or more threads concurrently.

Create an instance of Vector:

The creation of an instance of Vector by using the constructor is given below:

public Vector<Datatype> objName = new Vector<Datatype>(Size);

Where,

  • Datatype indicates the type of data.
  • objName indicates the name of vector.
  • new indicates key to create the vector.
  • Size indicates the size of the vector.
