Difference between ArrayList and LinkedList:

ArrayList LinkedList
Search operation in the ArrayList is fast compared to LinkedList as it maintains index based system for its elements as it uses array data structure. Search operation in the Linked list is slow compared to ArrayList as it implements double LinkedList which requires traverse through all the elements for searching an element.
ArrayList is fast in inserting and accessing the data. LinkedList  is better in manipulating the data
