Mest Announce Free Los Angeles Show

Mest have announced they will play a free show in Los Angeles on November 16th at BadLands 1835 N. Cahuenga.

The show is 21+ and free before 11pm/$5 after. The band will also be shooting footage for a new music video.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers Announce Free London Show

The Red Hot Chili Peppers have announced they will play a free show at KOKO in London on September 2nd.

Tickets will be given away via a random ballet from www.BBC.co.uk.

Frank Turner To Play Free Show In Newcastle Tomorrow

Frank Turner has announced he will play a free show tomorrow at Newcastle's O2 Academy.

Turner made the following statement:

"I was due to play at Ignition Festival in Newcastle on Saturday. As most people have now heard, the festival has been cancelled. I have neither the knowledge nor the desire to get involved in arguments as to why; the guys at the festival were cool with me all through and are bitterly disappointed that it's not happening, that's all I know for sure. Whatever the case, that show isn't going ahead.

Naturally, me being me, I've been trying to sort out a replacement show for tomorrow in Newcastle. We now, finally, have a plan.

We (the Sleeping Souls and I) will be playing at the Newcastle O2 Academy tomorrow night. Doors will be at 7pm, and the show will run until 10.30. If you have an Ignition Festival ticket, entry will be free. Otherwise entry will be £10, tickets on the door. The venue is smaller than the festival, so it'll be first come, first served. The age limit is 14 +.

We've spent the last 24 hours going through a million permutations, trying to cover every aspect (age restrictions, time, location, venue size, ticket holders etc.) and this is, as far as anyone can tell, the best option. I'd like to say a special thanks to Paul and his staff at the Academy, Joanna (my booking agent) and Graham (my tour manager) for working their arses off to pull this together. I know it doesn't replace an outdoor festival, but I think it's a great effort for the last minute!

Incidentally, according to the Ignition Festival website, they will be refunding tickets, so keep hold of yours whether you can make it to the show or not, hopefully you'll get your money back. See you all tomorrow night."

Hey Monday Announce Free New York Show

Hey Monday have announced they will play a free show in Deer Park, NY on August 13th.

Free Title Fight New York In-Store Show with Such Gold

Title Fight will play a free show in-store show in New York at Generation Records on June 24th. Such Gold will be supporting.

Anberlin Announce Free London Show

Anberlin have announced they will play a free UK show at The Garage, London on Wednesday July 13th.

Details about the show were revealed by the band in the following statement:

"Hello to you fine people of London!

As you are aware, we had to make an extremely difficult decision a few months ago and were absolutely gutted to postpone our April show at ULU. We heard from a lot of you that were quite displeased with us, and that did not sit well whatsoever with us. So as a gesture to show how much we appreciate you and where our true priorities are, we have been working hard behind the scenes to be able to offer a completely FREE SHOW!!!

It will be Wednesday July 13th at the Garage, and we are making sure this is a very special and memorable show.

We're letting those people who had previously purchased tickets for our ULU show to have a first dibs on getting into this new show before we release details for the remainder of the tickets. Simply email us at London@ANBERLIN.com and send us your proof of purchase / ticket confirmation (send us a scan of your receipt, email us your confirmation, etc) and we will be sure to put your name on a special list to get into the show first (you’ll need to remember to bring a photo ID with you to the show of course). You will have 7 days before we open up the rest of the tickets.

For those who had not yet purchased tickets to our ULU show, we will send out a follow up message in the coming days to ensure we can get as many of you into the show as we can possibly fit. We cannot wait to see you and party together at this show – it will be something special. We hope to see your lovely face on the 13th of July at the Garage to come sing along with us.

Free Coheed and Cambria with Tigers Jaw Show Announced

Coheed and Cambria will play a free show at the Williamsburg Waterfront in Brooklyn, New York on June 11th.

Support comes from Tigers Jaw and Adrian Belew Power Trio.

There are no tickets for the event. Fans should simply arrive on the day of the show. A select amount of VIP giveaways will be announced in the coming weeks.

Free Twin Atlantic HMV Glasgow Instore Show

Twin Atlantic will be playing a free instore show at HMV in Glasgow Buchanan on Monday May 2nd at 5.00pm. The band will also be signing copies of their new album, ‘Free’.

‘Free’ is released on May 2nd through Red Bull Records.

Free Silverstein Toronto Show

Silverstein will play a free show in Toronta on February 5th at the Young Centre for the Performing Arts.

Man Overboard Announce Free UK Headline Show

We Are The Ocean To Play Free London Show For New Single

We Are The Ocean have announced they will play a free show at the London Relentless Garage (Upstairs) on July 29th.

The show will coincide with the release of the band's new single, 'All Of This Has To End', which is out July 26th via Hassle Records.
