Meeting Liberty & Blog Friends.

This week has been a week of meetups of friends. New and old alike.

Tuesday one of my very best friends, Katie, came to visit us. Katie had a little girl, Liberty, just a few weeks before I had Connor (you may remember the shower I helped throw for Katie, that I blogged about HERE). We had never met each other's babies until this week. Due to C being a little under the weather, we decided to keep the party outside, and thankfully the weather was gorgeous. The kids had fun crawling around and playing on our playset. Isn't Liberty a doll?!?! This picture doesn't do her justice. SO precious!

Thursday I had a first for me... I met up with a bunch of bloggers that I had never really met in real life before. Well, actually I had met 2 of them before, but the others, aside from twitter, we had never met. It was SO much fun! I seriously loved every second of it. A lot of my real life friends don't blog or tweet, so it was so fun to be around people who do both, who I had never really been around in real life, and laugh and have a great time. I'm hoping to do something like this again soon!

Jenna and I met through blogging, and then we were involved in the same MOPS group last year and met IRL. Our boys are almost the same exact age, and we both have Braydens! :)

Lauren came in from Florida... and is so lucky to see the peak of fall! Yall should follow her on twitter if you watch the show Revenge. She does the best play by plays during the show and they are HILARIOUS. (and if you don't watch the show Revenge, you should. The girls sucked me into it and I am HOOKED).

It was so great meeting all of you girls and I can't wait till we do something like this again!

Baby "Chooper."

One of my best friends, Katie, had her baby today. Baby Cooper.

Or as Brayden said, "it's baby Chooper!"

We went to the hospital to visit Katie and baby Coop tonight after Drew got home. Brayden was so in awe over the little baby, and SO proud to hold him "all by himself."





He was so gentle with him, and kept patting the blankets. It was SO sweet. SO much different than when Connor was born... that's why I think 2.5 years is a great age difference for kids.


Katie asked Brayden if he could teach Cooper how to play basketball, football, soccer and baseball. Brayden replied with a simple, "mmmhmmm." and then started whispering "baseball" in Cooper's ear. It was a moment that literally stole my heart.

Welcome to the world baby Cooper. We love you so much and are so glad that you are finally here with us!

Birthday Club

Last night I met up with several of my friends to celebrate some birthdays. This is something we do every month and I love it. These girls are my besties, and I'm not sure what I'd do without them!

I'm only putting this picture up because it makes me laugh. I had been taking pictures of everyone and this older gentleman got up and said, you need to be in the picture! I was hesitant because (a) most people don't know how to handle a DSLR and (b) I had my new lens on there, and I would literally vomit and die if he accidentally dropped my camera or something. I asked him if he knew how to use the camera and he was like "oh yeah, I know!" So I handed it over, he acted as if he changed some settings, snapped a few pics, handed the camera over and sat down. This is what he got. And this is with me trying to edit it a little for exposure. Plus, there were 3 other girls on the other side of the table that he didn't include. hahahaha. Just have to laugh.
