This soy based formula with argan oil not only removes your nail polish but also treats skin with Vitamins A, C & E (vitamin E being a personal favorite of mine 😎)! NCLA | Take It Off Remover Sheets - $19

Another soy based remover that strengthens as it works and this time in handy little individual packs perfect for travel or quick removal on the go. NCLA also have a great range of vegan and cruelty free nail polishes that are 5 free (so, no formaldehyde, DBP, Toluene, Formaldehyde Resin and Camphor) and are bringing out new shades all the time. Their nail wraps are also super fun!

Madam Glam | Express Polish Remover & Remover Wraps - $10-12

Now time some less botanical options! Madam Glam offer a handy little pot of remover you just put your nail into, twist and your polish is removed. They also have wraps that i use to remove both gel polish and glitter polishes!

An essence has to be the most bougie skincare item, right? Well, I tried one out and here are my thoughts!


Until coming across this essence, the only other ones i was aware of were typically VERY expensive Korean brands so i was stoked to see one from a cruelty free company that was also vegan.

Some of the product benefits Juice Beauty boasts:

• Soothes skin and reduces the appearance of redness with alkylamides isolated and extracted from the Zanthoxylum fruit.
• Leaves a thin veil of moisture on the skin from polysaccharides of the tamarind seed.
• Reduces appearance of pores, dark spots & discoloration.
• Prepares skin to absorb serum & moisturizer efficiently.

First of all i feel like we need to talk about the scent, last night i even insisted Adam smell my face so he could confirm what it smelled like. Okay, so imagine all of the green ingredients in a summery gin cocktail... mint, apple, cucumber; all things fresh and gardeny. THAT is what this smells like and it makes me want a gin drink every time i use it: morning or night (i'd just like to say that i haven't partaken in a single gin drink, however).

To apply, i pour a few drops on my fingertips then apply to my skin in a sort of pressing motion in between my toner (if i use one) and serums. The handy video about the product on their site explains this is the best way to apply as well as going over exactly what an essence is.

Not only am i obsessed with this based on the smell (i'm sniffing it rn), i've definitely noticed this has boosted my skin's hydration level and has my skin feeling more plump and firm and looking more bright. I wasn't anticipating falling in love with this essence and adding another step into my skincare routine but its quickly become my favorite product to apply.

If you're looking into brightening products in general, this whole line has some awesome ingredients and i also enjoy the Full Strength Peel (you can literally FEEL this working) and the Age Defy Moisturizer.

A lot of skincare products might find their way into my routine briefly but needless to say, this one has become a permanent resident and i adore it!

Many of you know i love reusables when it comes to makeup removal/ skin care so i was stoked to receive these Face Halos in my PO box and give them a try.

Face Halos come in a pack of three for $22, they're washable, reusable makeup removing pads that work just by getting them wet.

They have a firm padding through the middle and seem very well made to endure the 200 washes they boast withstanding.

I've used and washed mine now and really love how easily they remove makeup. I found one to be sufficient to remove a full face of makeup including eye makeup with minimal effort or pressure needed. They're also flexible so i fold them in half and use the flat edge to get in the lash line.

So, start to finish, heres how i use them...

• Get the face halo wet with warm water and wring out any excess
• Softly wipe away makeup from your face just with the wet halo
• Once one side is covered in makeup, turn it over or fold it in half to maneuver it around your eyes
• Now all your makeup is removed, finish your skin care
• Then i use a little Dr Bronners baby soap to wash out any makeup from the halo (this gets them REALLY clean and works as a pre-wash)
• Wash with whites and skip the fabric softener
• You can put them in the dryer but letting them air dry will keep the disc shape better

Thats it! Super easy and a great way to cut down on waste. I'd really recommend these for anyone wanting to embrace some reusable options in their home!
