Built as an estate pub for an estate that never happened, it has gone through several incarnations; from chain restaurant pub to fine dining. Having now settled on a country pub feel specialising in food. The large interior is seperated into several rooms, managing to give a busy yet intimate experience for diners, but plenty of room for drinkers with no presure to eat. Reviews

Stans Review
The Black-a-Moor has always been a warm friendly place and still maintains this. We miss the lively beer festivals of old, but the pub retains a decent pint and a reputation as a restaurant of good standards. Despite being a little out of the way, this is well worth a visit whether for a good meal or a good pint.
