I've just returned from a 5 day trip to Portmeirion in Wales. Me and 8 of my mates stayed in a cottage just outside the village called Dorlan Goch and it was truly beautiful. We laughed and laughed all week and not a cross word was said, thats pretty special when theres 9 crazy people living in such close quarters. I've not had the best start to the year, nothing horrible has happened however there has been a large number of setbacks and hassles I've had to deal with, just as I get myself back on my feet something else happens! So this break was just what I needed.
I've never been to Portmeirion before and did'nt really know much about it apart from the 1960's programme The Prisoner was filmed there. Well its a magical almost fairytale type of village with lots of colour and different types of buildings. Here take a look!
