Welcome to Lily and the lotus.blogspot.com.This is my new DT Challenge piece for our new challenge Feathers and or Fur at http://smudgyantics.blogspot.com/
I chose Feathers
My image is a smeared ink image you can find at http://www.smearedink.com/
The Venice Digi set..I printed the mask 8x 10 and colored with one of my first Prismacolor markers I have ever owned Mahogany Red and I used my studio G glitter (black) and Tim Holtz Black diamond.. I put two coats on the black areas with the glitter. It took about two hours to completely dry I did not use a heat tool.
A mask was a new idea and something I have only made one before...and it was dangerously flimsy with out adding the feathers so I asked My fellow DT friends how would they do this...LB is such a awesome friend and artist (her blog is on my side bar in one of my older hops)..she instructed me to skan and print out a duplicate of what I had made and the glue the feathers on black paper with a hot glue gun... so basically there are three layers to the mask.
I added the beads to the front piece and ribbon to both sides.
I hope you like my mask.
Thank you for stopping in and I would love to hear what you think.
I am also entering this in http://poequoththeraven.blogspot.com/
