This year's FA Cup final is more than a game of football - or at least it will be built up like that.
There is no love lost between the two managers

Clearly there is no love lost between the two managers and the fact both teams are trophyless adds a bit more spice to the final - let's just hope there is no pizza on the menu.
Even if it is a sunny day the rivalry might just be enough to persuade people to stay indoors and watch in anticipation of a few handbag moments.
Both Arsenal and Manchester United have had OK seasons so far in the sense that they have finished in the Premiership top three - but victory in Cardiff will transform it into a good campaign for one of the teams.
There has been so much rubbish written about Arsenal and United having poor seasons.
At the level at which they compete, success and failure comes down to the narrowest of margins.
United haven't had a bad season by any means but in comparison to Chelsea it looks like they have.

Regardless of who wins I expect both to strengthen over the summer

Arsenal have been brilliant in the Premiership over the last couple of months and have had a solid season, it is just that Chelsea have been brilliant.
It is probably not acceptable for supporters of either club to finish the season potless but this happens every now and again.
Both played weakened teams in the Carling Cup, neither has looked like winning the Champions League over the last couple of seasons and - FA Cup aside - that just leaves the Premiership, in which Chelsea have dominated.
Arsenal are playing so well I expect them to win on Saturday.
Their performances as individuals and as a team have massively improved since Gilberto Silva came back alongside Patrick Vieira.
Arsenal have been in superb form

If Arsenal do win it will be a simmering summer for Sir Alex Ferguson - and I'm not just on about the heat.
Everyone is aware that next season might be his last, which means that he has to get it absolutely right in the transfer market.
Regardless of who wins I expect both to strengthen over the close season - both teams need top-quality goalkeepers and a couple of outfield players.
Next season the final is scheduled to return to Wembley.
The FA Cup final in Cardiff has been a massive success - and not just because the Millennium Stadium is magnificent and in the city centre.
The people of Cardiff really want you to be there and that makes a massive difference.
The old Wembley was a horrible place to visit and I just hope when the final returns to London the staff have taken note of the welcome offered in Cardiff.
