Stewart Hosie took the Dundee East seat for the SNP

The Scottish National Party has edged out Labour in Dundee East.
The SNP's Stewart Hosie took the seat from Labour's Iain Luke with a majority of just 383.
Mr Hosie polled 14,708 votes, Mr Luke got 14,325. The Conservatives were third with just over 5,000 votes and the Lib Dems got 4,498.
The redrawn constituency saw rural areas with a strong SNP base added. It retained middle class areas such as Broughty Ferry and working-class areas.
Mr Hosie said the SNP had campaigned on pensions, the council tax, the fate of merger-listed Scottish army regiments - in particular the Black Watch - and Iraq.
"All of those issues played in this election," he added.
