Nine arrested over Luton murder
The victim was found in his burned Rover 416
Nine men have been arrested in Luton in connection with the murder of an Albanian found dead in his burnt-out car.
The body of Taf Krasniqi, 25, was found in the vehicle hidden behind trees in a field near Caddington in Bedfordshire in September. Teams of detectives visited three houses in Luton on Wednesday morning and made the arrests. The nine men are being questioned at police stations throughout the county. The properties are being searched by police. Mr Krasniqi, of Celadine Drive in Luton, was last seen on Friday 20 September, and was reported missing by his girlfriend. Police appealed to members of the Albanian community in the town to help solve the crime.
