RIVER OF DESTINY OUT IN THE SHOPS  after a flurry of interviews for local radio and newspapers some of which were hastily re arranged down the telephone to keep the poor journalists out of reach of my germs . My cold seems to be on the mend at last, though I shall take a supply of lemsip to the launch. Don't worry, I can't still be infectious after ten days! Although  publication date is today, tomorrow is a bit special - going out to Sutton Hoo to give the book a proper send off will be  one of those perfect moments I hope. Because of the lovely museum and cafe it doesn't reallymatter what the weather is like - if it is nice, people can go and expolore the burial mounds and if the weather is dreadful, all the more atmospheric... I shall look forwards to seeing some of you there.
