爸爸，生日快乐！

一直以来都比较疼妈妈的我，记忆中好像都不曾送爸爸什么。也许是长大了，慢慢得也体会到爸爸的爱和关心，关系也渐渐变好了。他今天生日，我就亲手做个蛋糕祝福他。一向不太喜欢用食物颜料，但这次破例，做了个颜色鲜艳漂亮的蛋糕，只想祝福近日来健康不是很好的爸爸 “希望你和这蛋糕一样，天天过得开心，天天过得漂亮”！

The old man at home

 

 

Dad had his last jab for the eye and heart review this week. The eye seems to be healing well (waiting for last review in 2 weeks' time though) and as for the heart valve, it isn't deteriorating which is also a good news in a way. I guess it puts him in a better mood for the new year. He suggested doing lotus root and crabstick chips for goodies. Though it messes up my kitchen but as long as he's well and happy, I'm happy.

 

I thank God for his well-being and health.

A celebration for the kids' embarkment on the primary school journey. And also for our "accomplishment" thus far. This is the group which have been giving one another support for the past 7-8 yrs despite having own views and some differences at times. I'm grateful for them ,their maturity, their support, their love and their presence! Thank you, my dear comrades!

The 4 of us had always been the closer among all the cousins, probably cos our mums are sisters?

Anyway this pic was taken like about 25 yrs ago! We are all grown up and with families/kids now (except for 1, haha!).

 

How sweet are these kind of memories ... Hope our kids will continue with the r/s.
