Deleting category after an undeletion

[edit]

The bot deleted Category:DVD interactive technology after admin User:Stifle undeleted it after a deletion review: Wikipedia:Deletion review/Log/2024 July 29#Category:DVD interactive technology. I have listed the category at Wikipedia:Requests for undeletion#Category:DVD interactive technology. Mika1h (talk) 09:10, 30 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It did exactly what it was being instructed to do at the time. — JJMC89 18:24, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Is JJMC89 bot III OK?

[edit]

Just noticed that the bot hasn't made any edits or processed any CfD speedy requests in two days. Is it OK or is that normal behaviour? MClay1 (talk) 07:50, 1 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It's going again now. Not sure why there was such a big pause but all is well. MClay1 (talk) 08:46, 1 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry for the late reply. Its not normal. It should normally run about every 30 minutes. For some reason it got stuck. I had managed to do something that let it run again, but it was fully resolved until later, by one of the Toolforge roots. — JJMC89 21:12, 5 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Move request

[edit]

Hi JJMC, I have a rather large move request in mind I was hoping you could help with. It has already received community consensus, see Wikipedia talk:Featured and good topic candidates/2024#FGTC Reforms – Part 1, item #3. If you'd rather I bring this to Technical requests (it seemed outside that page's scope) or to someone else, I'm happy to do so.

Essentially, both Featured and Good topics are on pages current named "Featured topics/Topic Name". The consensus dictated that all good topics should be named separately: i.e. "Good topics/Topic Name". So all pages in Category:Wikipedia Good topics should be renamed in this manner. Is this something you and your bot could help with? Thanks – Aza24 (talk) 00:34, 5 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Aza24:  Done except Wikipedia talk:Featured and good topic candidates/Wiesbaden class cruisers/archive1 since the name does not follow the pattern of the others. — JJMC89 21:03, 5 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
