Archives of the Unicode® Mail List

The main Unicode Mail List Archive contains a record of the emails exchanged back to January, 2014. This archive is available for viewing sorted by thread, by subject, by author, or by date. The main archive is updated on a frequent basis, but is not guaranteed to be updated daily.

January 2, 2014 - current

Older mail archives are available in a somewhat different format. Back to 2001, email archives are stored in folders identified by month. For the period from January 2014 through April 2020, there is an overlap in content with the main archive.

March 21, 2001 - April 2, 2020

Archives prior to March 21, 2001 are not organized by month. They were simply batched together periodically, with sequential numbering of the archive directories:

October 11, 1994 - March 19, 2001

To search these archives for particular topics we recommend use of commercial search engines.
