John Lowe - Ask Jeeves, Inc.John Lowe completed his Ph.D. in linguistics at UC Berkeley in 1995. After research stints at UCB, CNRS in Paris, and elsewhere working on computational lexicography in Sino-Tibetan and Bantu languages, he started working at Ask Jeeves in 1998. He is now Vice President of Language Engineering and Chief Linguist. |

International Unicode Conferences are organized by Global Meeting Services, Inc., (GMS).

license granted by the Unicode Consortium. All responsibility for conference finances and
operations is borne by GMS. The independent conference board serves solely at the pleasure
of GMS and is composed of volunteers active in Unicode and in international software
