If for some reason the benchmark is found to not run for you because of bugs in the benchmark, standard violations, among other reasons, changes may be requested which correct the problem and may be used for base runs. Please see the run rules for more information.

The following srcalt tar files have been accepted for use by the HPG Committee and can be explicitly added to the MPI2007 v2.0 or v2.0.1 directory tree:

mpi2007-dleslie-integer_overflow-160224.tar.bz2: corrects overflow problem for larger rank counts that cause long run times.

integer_overflow - allowed for use in base and peak submissions

mpi2007-socorro-nullify_ptr-1202022.tar.bz2: corrects Fortran error where pointers were queried before their state was known, this initializes those pointers to null.

nullify_ptrs        - allowed for use in base and peak submissions

mpi2007-tera_tf-add_rank_support-150610.tar.bz2: fixes the decomposition for several larger rank counts that would previously fail with the medium data set.

add_rank_support        - allowed for use in base and peak submissions for the medium data set 

The following srcalt tar files have been accepted for use by the HPG Committee and can be explicitly added to the MPI2007 v1.0 directory tree:

mpi2007-tera_tf-fixbuffer-080206.tar.bz2: corrects a potential race condition that exists in the code.

fixbuffer           - required for use in base and peak submissions

mpi2007-wrf2-fixcalling-080206.tar.bz2: corrects subroutine calls which used illegal parameters.

fixcalling          - allowed for use in base and peak submissions

mpi2007-GemsFDTD-maxprocandstop-080421.tar.bz2: Fixes array addressing issue for ranks counts above 256 and uses STOP statement for rank termination instead of call exit.

maxprocandstop      - allowed for use in base and peak submissions

mpi2007-milc-calloc-080403.tar.bz2: Corrects potential uninitialized memory errors that have been reported.

calloc              - allowed for use in base and peak submissions

mpi2007-socorro-second_underscore-080403.tar.bz2: Allows for proper linking between MVAPICH and pathscale compilers.

second_underscore   - allowed for use in base and peak submissions
