- Power Technology:
-
This BIOS option allows to disable or define Power Management on server.
This can be one of the following: [Disable], [Energy Efficient] or [Custom].
Users should set this option as [Energy Efficient] for performing application benchmarking.
- Enforce POR:
-
Enable to enforce POR restriction for DDR4 frequency and voltage programming.
This can be one of the following: [Disabled] or [Enabled].
When memory modules are populated in two or more Dimm Per Channel, users should set this option as [Disabled] for manually selecting Memory Frequency.
- Memory Frequency:
-
When Enforce POR option is set as [Disabled], users can manually set Memory Frequency to maximum supported by the processor.
- COD Enable:
-
This Bios option is visible for Intel(R) E5-26xx v3 processors with 10+ cores.
Enabling this option reduce coherence traffic and cache-to-cache transfer latencies.
This can be one of the following: [Enable] or [Disable].
Users should set this option as [Enable] for performing application benchmarking.
- Hyper-Threading (All):
-
Enabling this option allows to use processor resources more efficiently, enabling multiple threads to run on each core
and increases processor throughput, improving overall performance on threaded software.
This can be one of the following: [Enable] or [Disable].
Users should set this option as [Enable] for SPECint_rate2006 and SPECfp_rate2006.
Users should set this option as [Disable] for SPECint2006 and SPECfp2006.
- Fan Mode:
-
This feature allows manually selecting cooling mode.
This option can be set in the BMC.
Can be one of the following: [Standard Speed], [HeavyIO Speed], [Optimal Speed] or [Full Speed].
The first three options cause the fan speed is adapted to the current load on the server.
[Full Speed] option provides the best cooling regardless of the load on the server.
Users should set this option as [Full Speed] for performing application benchmarking.
