- Power & Performance:
-
This BIOS option define Power Management on server.
This can be one of the following: [Performance], [Balanced Performance], [Balanced Power] or [Power].
[Performance] option - optimization is strongly toward performance, even at the expense of energy efficiency.
Users should set this option as [Performance] for performing application benchmarking.
- Enforce POR:
-
Enable to enforce POR restriction for DDR4 frequency and voltage programming.
This can be one of the following: [Disabled] or [Enabled].
When memory modules are populated in two or more Dimm Per Channel, users should set this option as [Disabled] for manually selecting Memory Frequency.
- Memory Operating Speed Selection:
-
This can be one of the following: [Auto], [1333], [1600], [1866], [2133].
When Enforce POR option is set as [Disabled], users can manually set Memory Frequency to maximum supported by the processor.
- Cluster-on-Die:
-
This Bios option is visible for Intel(R) E5-26xx v3 processors with 10+ cores.
Enabling this option reduce coherence traffic and cache-to-cache transfer latencies.
This can be one of the following: [Enable] or [Disable].
Users should set this option as [Enable] for performing application benchmarking.
- Set Fan Profile:
-
This feature allows manually selecting cooling mode.
This can be one of the following: [Performance], or [Acoustic].
[Performance] - Fan control provides primary system cooling before attempting to throttle memory.
[Acoustic] - The system will favor using throttling of memory over boosting fans to cool the system if thermal thresholds are met.
Users should set this option as [Performance] for performing application benchmarking.
- Fan PWM Offset:
-
This number is added to the calculated PWM value to increase Fan Speed.
Users can set this option from 0 to 100.
For best cooling (fans full speed) users can set this option as 100.
