$CONFIG When Building SPECperl
Date: Tue Dec 10 10:57:26 PST 1996
It is possible for the build of SPECperl (basically Perl5) to fail.
This is caused by the environment variable CONFIG
having a
non-null value when performing the installation (and hence the building) of
the SPEC CPU95 benchmark environment.
This is something to try if you are having unexplained problems building
SPECperl
Suggested fix:
-- before installing and building the benchmark environment try performing
a
unset CONFIG
