The Egg Lancer is another of Eggman's boss machines in Sonic Unleashed. It is the Egg Devil Ray and the Egg Beetle merged into one powerful machine. This battle takes place in the Adabat reigon.
This fight takes course on a pre-determined path, running along a wall, then through an underpass, before using Quick-Time Events over a gorge before entering a tunnel where the path restarts. All this time the boss is hitting you with its lasers, energy balls, and the pincer from previous encounters.
The point is to knock it's health to zero. This can be tricky though, as there are only a few select times you can hit him.
Take Notice: in the Wii/PS2 version of this fight, Eggman is piloting this boss mech. However, the PS3/360 version has his robots piloting it.
