Which Way This Year?

If you don’t have a target, you will get nothing…
This is a shining truth…
If we don’t put spiritual targets to our life, our progression will be minimal… and we will be lost in the absolute values… we will pass from a trial to another one without any benefit…
A Christian without target is just like Alice in wonder world… where she asked the cat: “can you please help me to choose the way to take from here?”, and the cat answered: “it is up to where you are going…” She said: “it doesn’t matter”… the cat said again: “then, there is no problem which way you choose…”
This is applicable in wonder world but not in ours…
It is not enough to say I want to be a “good Christian”… I must say I am…

His Birthday Gift

For a while, someone will think that it is the day of lights, colors and new things… it is the fiesta of children… or the day of sweet gifts…

It is imperative that we need to change… to go out of routine… of usual boring life…
No one hates to get chocolates, new clothes, many gifts… a lot of kisses… a lot of hugs… but what else?
All these things may give us a temporary smile… but do we know that there is an eternal one?
This birthday was to release us from our mortal materialism… What did we do with time?
We made this day the one of materialism and we forgot the essential… while all our days are full with super care for earthy life, we forgot always to live…
Maybe the error was to give the holy child that is born everyday in our hearts, just a day to celebrate…

What is the story of this day?
The lord came to our earth… he was born in the poorest place… with just one star… not five ones… all in nature… even for air conditioning…
As a king in his simplicity… he was announced to the ones who were waiting in the dark ages…
Earthy kings didn’t understand in the beginning… then they did… he is here for a holy mission… no more need for arms to protect him… his kingdom is peace…
The kings of east presented their material gifts… that what they learned to do in similar cases… they left after… the bible didn’t give more details about them… What they became after?
We know that Jesus didn’t need there gifts…
Was it enough for them to just look at him and leave after?
(You will feel here I’m going out of the subject, but I really feel jealous from them… how could someone look into his eyes and leave? How could someone touch him and go like that? What did they feel when they touched him or looked at him? My body shivers for just thinking of this!)

Here we go again…
Do you love Jesus?
Rarely someone forgets the gifts for the ones he love… don’t forget his gift…
But what are you trying to give him?
Remember! He is the creator of everything…
He doesn’t need money… gold… jewels… houses… cars…
He needs you…
Are you ready to give him that this Christmas?
It seems something hard these days!
Don’t be afraid, he thought about our negativism… he knows us better than we ever knew ourselves…
He created another simple way… go out of your close circle… and give a cup of love to someone you don’t know, but it is surely better if you give it to someone you don’t love…

Our Boat

Sassine El Nabbout Photography
It was not that difficult to choose… it is the one that pleased our eyes…
The river was calm… the winds were soft and somewhat cold… but who cares… we were together…
We looked at the boat bottom… there were water…
A feeling of trouble filled us… we checked the other boats… "they are all the same"…
You said: do you know how to swim?
I said: yes… and you?
You said: if you know, I have nothing to fear…
You were the first to enter… moments of disequilibrium… I hold you and the boat with all my power…
When it was my turn… I thought I can do it alone, but it was worse… when it calms again, a smile was drawn on my face… your hands was holding me and the boat…
We were hiking… your eyes were mine…
Go to the right… go to left… turn around… watch out…
I remember every word… every smile…
The orchestra of birds was around us… I never heard them singing that much…
They said that this day will be a bad one… but it was the best day…
Sailing to where we don’t know… but very sure as if we were there many times…
We didn’t talk that much… we were just looking at each other and at everything…
Parrots were imitating our few words… and they are repeating till now…
Our visit was the origin of that legend…
All the habitants and visitors of this region are thinking that the trees talk… and the echo of “I love you” is filling this forest…

A Small Gesture

One day, when I was a freshman in high school, I saw a kid from my class was walking home from school. His name was Kyle. It looked like he was carrying all of his books.
I thought to myself, "Why would anyone bring home all his books on a
Friday? He must really be a nerd."
I had quite a weekend planned (parties and a football game with my friends
tomorrow afternoon), so I shrugged my shoulders and went on.
As I was walking, I saw a bunch of kids running toward him. They ran at him, knocking all his books out of his arms and tripping him so he landed in the dirt.
His glasses went flying, and I saw them land in the grass about ten feet
from him. He looked up and I saw this terrible sadness in his eyes
My heart went out to him. So, I jogged over to him as he crawled around
looking for his glasses, and I saw a tear in his eye.
As I handed him his glasses, I said, "Those guys are jerks.” “They really should get lives."
He looked at me and said, "Hey thanks!"
There was a big smile on his face.
It was one of those smiles that showed real gratitude.
I helped him pick up his books, and asked him where he lived. As it turned out, he lived near me, so I asked him why I had never seen
him before. He said he had gone to private school before now.

I would have never hung out with a private school kid before.
We talked all the way home, and I carried some of his books.
He turned out to be a pretty cool kid.
I asked him if he wanted to play a little football with my friends
He said yes.
We hung out all weekend and the more I got to know Kyle, the more I liked
him, and my friends thought the same of him.
Monday morning came, and there was Kyle with the huge stack of books
again.
I stopped him and said, "Boy, you are going really build some serious
muscles with this pile of books everyday!"
He just laughed and handed me half the books.
Over the next four years, Kyle and I became best friends. When we were seniors we began to think about college. Kyle decided on Georgetown and I was going to Duke. I knew that we would always be friends, that the miles would never be a
problem. He was going to be a doctor and I was going for business on a football
scholarship.
Kyle was valedictorian of our class. I teased him all the time about being a nerd.
He had to prepare a speech for graduation.
I was so glad it wasn't me having to get up there and speak
Graduation day, I saw Kyle. He looked great.
He was one of those guys that really found himself during high school.
He filled out and actually looked good in glasses.
Today was one of those days.
I could see that he was nervous about his speech.
So, I smacked him on the back and said, "Hey, big guy, you'll be great!"
He looked at me with one of those looks (the really grateful one) and
smiled. " Thanks," he said.
As he started his speech, he cleared his throat, and began: "Graduation is a time to thank those who helped you make it through those
tough years.
Your parents, your teachers, your siblings, maybe a coach...but mostly
your friends...
I am here to tell all of you that being a friend to someone is the best
gift you can give them.
I am going to tell you a story."
I just looked at my friend with disbelief as he told the story of the
first day we met.
He had planned to kill himself over the weekend.
He talked of how he had cleaned out his locker so his Mom wouldn't have to
do it later and was carrying his stuff home.
He looked hard at me and gave me a little smile.
"Thankfully, I was saved. My friend saved me from doing the unspeakable."

I heard the gasp go through the crowd as this handsome, popular boy told
us all about his weakest moment.
I saw his Mom and dad looking at me and smiling that same grateful smile.
Not until that moment did I realize it's depth.
Never underestimate the power of your actions.
With one small gesture you can change a person's life. For better or for worse.

God puts us all in each others lives to impact one another in some way.

Look for God in others.

"When you're down to nothing, God is up to something"

She jumped up as soon as she saw the surgeon come out of the operating room. She said: "How is my little boy ? Is he going to be all right ? When can I see him ?"

The surgeon said, "I'm sorry. We did all we could, but your boy didn't make it."
Sally said, "Why do little children get cancer ? Doesn't God care any more ? Where were you, God, when my son needed you ?"

The surgeon asked, "Would you like some time alone with your son ? One of the nurses will be out in a few minutes, before he's transported to the university."

Sally asked the nurse to stay with her while she said good bye to son. She ran her fingers lovingly through his thick red curly hair. "Would you like a lock of his hair ?" the nurse asked.
Sally nodded yes. The nurse cut a lock of the boy's hair, put it in a plastic bag and handed it to Sally.

The mother said, "It was Jimmy's idea to donate his body to the University for Study. He said it might help somebody else. "I said no at first, but Jimmy said, 'Mom, I won't be using it after I die. Maybe it will help some other little boy spend one more day with his Mom." She went on, "My Jimmy had a heart of gold. Always thinking of someone else. Always wanting to help others if he could."

Sally walked out of Children's Mercy Hospital for the last time, after spending most of the last six months there. She put the bag with Jimmy's belongings on the seat beside her in the car.

The drive home was difficult. It was even harder to enter the empty house. She carried Jimmy's belongings, and the plastic bag with the lock of his hair to her son's room.
She started placing the model cars and other personal things back in his room exactly where he had always kept them. She laid down across his bed and, hugging his pillow, cried herself to sleep.

It was around midnight when Sally awoke. Laying beside her on the bed was a folded letter. The letter said:

"Dear Mom, I know you're going to miss me; but don't think that I will ever forget you, or stop loving you, just 'cause I'm not around to say "I Love You". I will always love you, Mom, even more with each day. Someday we will see each other again. Until then, if you want to adopt a little boy so you won't be so lonely, that's okay with me. He can have my room and old stuff to play with. But, if you decide to get a girl instead, she probably wouldn't like the same things us boys do. You'll have to buy her dolls and stuff girls like, you know. Don't be sad thinking about me. This really is a neat place. Grandma and Grandpa met me as soon as I got here and showed me around some, but it will take a long time to see everything. The angels are so cool. I love to watch them fly. And, you know what? Jesus doesn't look like any of his pictures. Yet, when I saw Him, I knew it was Him. Jesus himself took me to see GOD ! And guess what, Mom ? I got to sit on God's knee and talk to Him, like I was somebody important. That's when I told Him that I wanted to write you a letter, to tell you good bye and everything. But I already knew that wasn't allowed. Well, you know what Mom ? God handed me some paper and His own personal pen to write you this letter. I think Gabriel is the name of the angel who is going to drop this letter off to you. God said for me to give you the answer to one of the questions you asked Him 'Where was He when I needed him ?' "God said He was in the same place with me, as when His son Jesus was on the cross. He was right there, as He always is with all His children. Oh, by the way, Mom, no one else can see what I've written except you. To everyone else this is just a blank piece of paper. Isn't that cool ? I have to give God His pen back now. He needs it to write some more names in the Book of Life. Tonight I get to sit at the table with Jesus for supper. I'm sure the food will be great.
Oh, I almost forgot to tell you. I don't hurt anymore. The cancer is all gone. I'm glad because I couldn't stand that pain anymore and God couldn't stand to see me hurt so much, either. That's when He sent The Angel of Mercy to come get me. The Angel said I was a Special Delivery ! How about that ?

Signed with Love from God.

If The Autumn Leaves Talk

The time is moving on, and we are not seeing the sun anymore…
Even if she appears… as soon as we look at her, she hides herself behind a cloud…
Days are becoming lazy…
We feel that there are no more things to do…
Ah! It is really cold…
Look at humans and animals… everyone below is collecting… working hard…
Winter is knocking on the door…
Do you think that we can continue working?! Without rays?!
We think that our factories will be closed for a while…
We have to free the way… the incoming leaves are younger…
What to do until we leave…
Why are you looking red?!
Why are you looking yellow?!
I told you… I’m closing my factories…
Oh my God! I’m afraid from death!
Don’t be afraid… it will be so smooth…
Why we live in a temporary fashion?
Why we can’t stay forever?
Don’t be afraid! Even if we die, we will be the power of the next generations…
Our good ingredients will resuscitate again… while our unusable body will stay in the soil…
Why is it like that?
They said: everything is made for the glory of God…
I didn’t understand… Why are we not like cedars? Always green?!
My dear! God didn’t make human for us… but he made us for human…
Look at this one staying at our mother base…
It is the color…
The secret…
Color is one of the secrets of life…
It attracts the eyes… the souls…
Do you think that’s it?!
I think…

And the wind blows…
The leaves fly… turned many times before reaching the soil…
Ahhh! What a wonderful world…
Now we will cover the earth…
Seeing it from above is not enough… we have to touch it…
I adore this sensation… flying without knowing where I’m or where I will be…

Some ones has the chance to stay near home… another ones fall in the creek, and they saw the valley of dreams… another ones were hidden in the caves… another ones covers the roads… another ones reach the human houses… and all the others are still flying with the birds to the warmth…
But don’t forget… there are many ones still catching there mothers… not accepting to leave… or fearing to leave…
Many ones are thinking it is death… while it is the rise of a new season… but, with darker colors…

Two Wolves

One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people.
He said, "My son, the battle is between two "wolves" inside us all.
One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.
The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith."
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: "Which wolf wins?"
The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."

The House Of Automn

KAMOUA NATIONAL PARK, AKKAR
SAMA PHOTOGRAPHY
I can’t wait for you November… I miss autumn…
I miss his moments… His scenes…
I miss home…
The home of every season… but specially his one…
I can’t forget these moments…
When I reached this place, I covered my eyes while saying: who am I to deserve seeing all this beauty? How could an ugly like me touch this ground by his feet?
I heard a lovely windy song… and I saw the leaves dancing in the sky above me… it was saying: the eyes are made to see God’s beauty… the feet are made to walk on me… I like the sensation you make when you walks… keep going… open your eyes to see God’s most beautiful creation…
I opened my eyes… I saw God’s hand made wonder… and I said: how can I walk on this… I will distort this beauty…
I heard the wind saying again: walk… walk… move on…
I did it… and my footprints disappeared under a new collection of yellow leaves…
Then I found myself in the middle of this forest… as if I came from nowhere… as if I was born that moment…
My eyes couldn’t blink…
I bowed… then slept on this carpet…
The sun moved away the clouds… and in seconds, the light fills everywhere… he didn’t forget to hug every tree and every branch…
I stayed there… the leaves didn’t stop flying… then landing on my body… until I had the color of the forest…
I closed my eyes again… and I went into a deep sleep…
I forgot everything… every pain…
When I woke up, I realized that I forgot my name…
It was a real strange feeling… who am I?!
I said with a high voice: Who am I???
The echo responded: it is written on a leave…
I took one leave; and what was written: I love…
I said to myself: it is not possible…
I opened another leaf, and what was written is: I love…
I opened one billion leaves… and all what I found was: I love…
I said again with a high voice: I love…
The echo said: I love… you love… we will rise with the lord again…

I Asked God

Photo For Janine Russel
I asked God to take away my habit.God said, No. It is not for me to take away, but for you to give it up.
I asked God to make my handicapped child whole. God said, No. His spirit is whole, his body is only temporary.
I asked God to grant me patience. God said, No. Patience is a byproduct of tribulations; it isn't granted,it is learned.
I asked God to give me happiness. God said, No. I give you blessings; Happiness is up to you.
I asked God to spare me pain. God said, No. Suffering draws you apart from worldly cares and brings youcloser to me.
I asked God to make my spirit grow. God said, no. You must grow on your own,but I will prune you to make you fruitful.
I asked God for all things that I might enjoy life. God said, No. I will give you life, so that you may enjoy all things.
I asked God to help me LOVE others, as much as He loves me. God said...Ahhhh, finally you have the idea.

Macaw

Photo From National Geographic

Article from National Geographic:
Macaws are beautiful, brilliantly colored members of the parrot family.

Many macaws have vibrant plumage. The coloring is suited to life in Central and South American rain forests, with their green canopies and colorful fruits and flowers. The birds boast large, powerful beaks that easily crack nuts and seeds, while their dry, scaly tongues have a bone inside them that makes them an effective tool for tapping into fruits.

Macaws also have gripping toes that they use to latch onto branches and to grab, hold, and examine items. The birds sport graceful tails that are typically very long.

Macaws are intelligent, social birds that often gather in flocks of 10 to 30 individuals. Their loud calls, squawks, and screams echo through the forest canopy. Macaws vocalize to communicate within the flock, mark territory, and identify one another. Some species can even mimic human speech.

Flocks sleep in the trees at night, and in the morning they may fly long distances to feed on fruit, nuts, insects, and snails. Some species also eat damp soil, which may help to neutralize chemicals in their fruity diet and ease their stomachs.

Macaws typically mate for life. They not only breed with, but also share food with their mates and enjoy mutual grooming. In breeding season, mothers incubate eggs while fathers hunt and bring food back to the nest.

There are 17 species of macaws, and several are endangered. These playful birds are popular pets, and many are illegally trapped for that trade. The rain forest homes of many species are also disappearing at an alarming rate.

Hyacinth, red-fronted, and blue-throated macaws are seriously endangered. The glaucus macaw and Spix's macaw may already be extinct in the wild.

Look far… Even oceans in their deepest points, stay on a land… as everyone of men stay in the heart of a woman…
So don’t think you are the biggest or the most powerful….
Blow…
Blow the wind to comb the grass on her surface…
Make her coast a face of eternal beauty…
Surround her by clouds… kiss her with every rain drop…
Say to her I love you… every moment… and never stop...

Lebanon In Paris's Public Galleries

While walking on the streets of Paris, you may encounter a special gallery near Saint Sulpice Church... a long white table all over the street length... composed of so small, raised and smooth blank or filled surfaces... giving the ability to everyone to see, but surely to draw anything passing in his mind...
Isn't something good?!...
In Paris you may see everything... and this is just one of the beautiful things there... just express your feelings... write a small letter of love to someone... say what you want... no one will blame you...
They offer you kindly all the materials to draw what you want... and a pen to write on an honor book... and all this will be presented one day in a governmental place...
I couldn't hide my childish love to draw... i paint all what i thought about at this moment... that was it...

Gesto De Amor

I Love You Humanity... I Love You Brothership... I Love You Love...

The Reserve Of Jaj, Mount Lebanon

Image hosted by Webshots.com
by sassinabbout
Several thousand years ago, when much of Mount Lebanon was covered by cedar trees, the groves of Jaj were one of the first forests to be chopped down. The profitable cedar wood was exported to Egypt and later to Jerusalem.

Splendid survivors of this forest are still scattered on the peaks above the town of Jaj. They are easy to spot. Rounded in shape and very dark green in color, the trees are not readily confused with the much smaller pines at lower elevations. For the best view go to the top of the town and look up.

Trails exist up to these cedars, which grow out of what looks like bare rock in-groups of two or three.

Lebanon

So small, that's true... but Lebanon is still the most beautiful... and if you don't believe ask your mirror...

An eye on the lebanese In Canada

Who said they forgot?!
Who said they don’t want to return?!
Who said they don’t miss Lebanon every second?!
Do you think there is something that can stop them?
You doubt?!
Open Asda’ Tv and see what they do beside working hard, collecting money and sending them to their parents in Lebanon!
While seeing them I remember every word of our national hymn…
I don’t know so much about the cedar’s club in Canada, but what is special are the juniors, learning everything beautiful about their country, while not looking about their religion and political parties… they just dance, hand by hand, just as one… just because they are one lebanese…
Look in their eyes, all what you can see are the reflections of our white beautiful snow, our martyr’s blood, and our eternal cedar…
Wherever we are, we are the same… we love life, and life loves us…
No one can put us under the ground… why? because we will resucitate again in seconds…
A wish that the eyes like Asda’a Tv will be wherever there are Lebanese in the world…
With them you know that we don’t need to Lobby… but we need some music to dance…

War

Poor families afraid to look outside
Seeking only for a place to hide
Hear a bomb here, another there
Causing this war was just not fair
Blood of innocent people flowing on the streets
Blood of others underneath our feet
Over stupid political immature crap
Like who should be noticed more on the map
Innocent lives being taken away
Trying to find an explanation was difficult to say
Islamic, Christian, Buddhist or Jew
Doesn't mean you see everyone's point of view
Religion is sacramental not a reason for war
Not a reason to look up to the rich and down on the poor
It's sad to see such a beautiful country lose its respect
When people hear "Lebanon" they hear a country that's been wrecked
We used to be noticed for our large mountains and beautiful trees
Now we're only known for flying over seas
Far from home, settling somewhere new
Working day night to make enough to buy a pair of shoes
Depressing as it may seem this story is true
As much as you hear, you'll never have a clue
You'll never know what it was really like
To live in a country where everyday they were on a strike
On strike to gain some freedom to speak
Or to get some food for those who are so weak
It happened so fast, they turned us all on each other
A country is like a family, you shouldn't steal from your brother
Like Jesus taught us, respect your neighbors and friends
Don't make it worse when it's already been to the end
My country has lost its life, its respect and purity
And now that's all left for people to see
A country crumbling like a broken cake
I hope they're happy; they've left nothing to take
It's all been stolen, all taken away
Now I'm here with God, only able to pray

A Flower In The Human Psychology

Sassine El Nabbout Photography

From the first days of life, we open our eyes to see our family and a room fulfilled with flowers… Do we love flowers because of that?
It may be a cause, but just one of the causes…
What is a flower? Why flowers were created? Why they have an impact on us? Does someone on earth hate flowers?
They fill the life… and no one can imagine life if there is no flowers…
A flower is a mixture of colors… odor(s)… touch(s)… form…
Just a small creature, so simple… with an eternal cycle of life…
Did someone imagine? When a man loves a woman, he says to her: "you are the flower of my life"… when a man or women say to their daughter: "my little flower"… when a newborn enters the family, they say: "a new flower is in our garden of love"!
Can we imagine? In our best stages, we are flowers or compared to…
Looking around, we can see that a flower, as simple as it is, accomplish the roles of inter human signal… and the inter God and human signal…
The first days of life, they mean a new life… blue for a guy, pink for a girl… filling the house, they mean everything is ok… everything is good…
For children playing around in the field, he or she cuts a small flower… put it on his or her head… give it to her or to him, and a smile is on every face… even these children cant wait to see the spring again to play with flowers, just as does the wind…
When adolescent, the red fills the classes, just as the colors of cheeks… it means love… just you wait until the signal hits you… to know if he or she loves you, you count the petals of a flower…
When adult, a beautiful garden means a sweet house… flower gifts to your love means that this love is still alive and will continue… it means peace in your house…
When elderly, you don’t stop working in your garden to keep it full of them… that means that you want to continue and you are still alive just as your flowers… they fill your house, with a happy mother’s day, happy father’s day… or "get well soon"…
When you die, the flowers follow you to your tomb… and they are planted on it… kept alive to mean that you are still here with us… alive in our hearts… and we change them to say: we will never forget you…
Examples are so numerous that neither there are papers, nor time to accomplish or to describe…
Why they were created? Didn’t I describe all the above… and even more… as they are simple signals, they are small lessons… even Jesus used it: "look at this flower, even Solomon in his greatness didn’t wear like its colors"…
And the lessons are: as more as we are simple, we are more beautiful… as more as we complicate life, we are poorest… even if we have all the earth money, we are not richer than a flower in the eyes of God…
How does a flower influence us? Not only by the combination of odor, color, touch and form, but also by the language… for sure no one on earth heard flowers talking… these are the soul’s words…
A flower prints directly our heart pages…
A flower pushes you to follow her, just like a sunflower follows the sun…
No one can hate a flower… even the majority of world dictators put it around or near them whenever and wherever…
Don’t ask me anymore why I love flowers? Why I follow them from a place to another? Why I draw, photograph or talk about them?
Every flower mesmerizes me when I touch it… when I smell it… I feel involuntarily that I want to kiss it, to say thank you God for this gift…

The Angels Of Darkness

What you are seeing is not a bloody scene… it is not the first time happening on the small land of humans… as if the universe is with them… the nature is with them… there is nothing to worry about but their own interests…

There is nothing to work for but wars…

The humans are just fools… it is the best word to describe them… even a chimpanzee is smarter than them… a donkey is better… these animals commit the error one time… but the second time they pass the experience without making the same "joke"…

When will the "human" beings see that all the wars they conducted were nothing?

There is no race that can be ended… there is no religion that will be shut off… there is no loser other than them and God…

When will they understand that having all the earth money and power, will not make a "human" bow in face of them?!...

There is no one of their empires that didn't fall… but what about the human empire??

That's the minimum that happen sirs when the hate fills the earth…

Only dogs, hyenas, eagles and bacteria are happy… more nutriments from "human" flesh…

Isn't disgusting?! While the "humans" cannot find something to eat, the dogs and every other animal are eating what remain from us?!

When will everyone understand that he is nothing?... the weakest of viruses can lay him down for one week in bed… so we will not talk about more serious diseases, not about earthquakes or cyclones or tsunamis…

My memory is weak… I cannot remember that the ones that consider themselves higher than the "human" race were saved from something!!...

War… then death… then wars… then death… then what?!!...

Where are you going "human" population?!...

Your kingdoms will fall one after the other… it is worthless being on top… do you know why??... Because you will be the first to go down…

Remember… who is telling you that your land is a fortress, is a liar… did you see one day the borders they are talking about?!...

Earth is not so big guys… burning Amazon forests doe's not spare USA nor Lebanon… poisoning the mountains of Bosnia will not spare Israel or Iran or Syria…

The earth is so small… it is worthless dividing it in tribunes and families and races… let's make it simple, who from us don't eat daily from all earth's gifts… look around the products you are preparing…

Don't tell me God made this country… protects our country… asks us to invade… destruct… kill…

But who are we to talk or to ask?!... The rocks responded to our prayers but no one "human"… the winds hear us, but no one "human"…

Healing hate with more love is just a weak wish… Who can fight the dark angels that are flying around our earth? Crashing every "human" dignity…

May I ask you God to decrease our pain… shut off our anger… forgive our sins as "humans"… heal our injuries… protect every human filled with some atoms of goodness… every adult and aged not just children…?

May I ask you God to fortify our faith… to increase our trust… so that we don't feel helpless…?

May I ask you God to come, and finish this war against you and the humanity you made one day…?

The Evil Circle

While the sound of peace seems to be the weakest, or even forgotten, the gladiator’s arena is full of sounds: kill, kill, kill… the walls are full of blood, specially the innocent one… everyone’s blood… fire, rockets, destruction in every way, equivalent or not… and the circle of evil continue saying: kill, kill… they are away, high, looking from their seats while relaxing… why? Just to choose and honor the best killer… or just for the fun of cards game… kill, kill, kill…

Before entering the arena, a devil said to the first fighter: fight the devil that will come outside now, fight for your God… fight for your good… let us see a good game and you will be honored in the end…
On the other door, the same devil said the same thing to the other fighter…
For everyone he gave a type of arms… specially the most destructive ones…
Fight, kill… kill for your God…

The war started, while all devils are laughing… sure they are happy… who will be happy if the hate fills the earth… the unfair win… children die… every human power and evolution is destructed…
Yes kill… kill… kill…

What do you think all they will say more…?
Their kingdom is improving, while the human age is coming to be over…
Kill more and more…
They love to see our blood on the soil… whoever we think we are and from which human degree we consider ourselves…

Anyway, whatever we are, we are dead… and that what they want…

But their loud sounds were and still filling the arena… it is very exiting… what you are thinking to be the God circle clacking hands and shouting for you, are just a devil’s one… the problem is that you are in a factious scene…
Do you know what they like more?
To prolong the game they do anything… they like it more when eternal…

Where is God in all this…?
He was drying everyone tears… healing the wounds… telling every one of fighters: they are using you against my name… I don’t need someone to fight for me… I have already armies of angels if I want to make wars… stop killing each other… I’m not a warrior and I don’t agree on wars… peace… peace… peace… peace…
While the sounds in the arena were increasing kill… kill… kill…
The two fighters moved God away, so away… while saying: You are not God… our God is the one who told us to fight on his name… keep away…
And the war never stops… the devils continue laughing and supporting each one against the other…
The war never stops, because no one knew or even wanted to know who is God and what he really wants from us… starting with the least of his interest toward every human being: stop suffering for nothing…

Waiting

One day he started to feel a difficulty while swallowing… It was not important in the beginning; until he started feeling that the food is stuck in the middle of his chest… he could not support neither solid nor fluid nutriments… the gastroscopy was done, and showed an invasive tumor… with a poor prognosis… limited chemotherapy or radiotherapy… no one can do something… specially now, after that his cancer metastases to his head and liver… what to do now?!... The pain is not stoppable… morphine is making him sleepy all the day… no one activity…
Day after day the things are becoming worse… finally the tumor extended locally, and everything he take by mouth enter to the lungs…
He is feeling the cancer eating him…
A doctor visited him and said: I can do nothing for you…
The patient said: well… then what I can do?!...
The doctor said: nothing… you will wait until the death comes to take you…

“Did someone of you saw the lips shivering?!... The eyes looking white... a frozen unique tear…”

The patient said while trying to hide his feelings: well… it is the end then… will it be painful?
The doctor said: I will try all my best to make it non painful…

A silent moment filled the room with an empty image… I don’t know if it is white or black… I don’t know how he saw it…

The doctor replied: don’t think about euthanasia… I don’t do it… I will help you just to not have pain…
I have some palliative alternatives… we will send you to a green place, where you will be surrounded by cool music…

The patient said: no… I don’t need music… I will stay here… what can I do more?!...
Can he come while sleeping?!...

The doctor said: hope so… hope so…

The patient said: hope so…
And another frozen tear filled his eye…

Then he said again: I think it is early… all what I have came early… I didn’t even think about it…

The doctor said: did you finish all your needed papers…

The patient said: I signed all the papers…

The doctor said: do you believe?!

The patient said: no, I never believed…

The doctor replied: were you a good man in life?

The man said: I guess so…

Then no one found a word to continue… but as said to every patient before leaving, the doctor imitated his colleagues, and said: when you need me I’m here… while the patient was saying in his thoughts as said Mollière: I can die without a doctor’s help…

The night closed the ways of life by darkness… but something was happening in that room… it was the only one with on lamps… they were ranging the body that will be destroyed by his own bacteria…

It is too late for me to help him now… golden goals can be taken once… I was taken by feelings and chaos… and my faith is in its lowest levels… I remembered in the night a word said by this doctor: I’m not God to heal you…
But I remembered also that apostles were not God, and they healed many ones (by the power of God)…
Where am I from all of these believers?!
I’m just a little one fighting with mosquitoes, while forgetting my job…

A Bee And A Flower

Sassine El Nabbout Photography

"I missed you like death" said the flower… "Where have you been all this time?"… "I waited until I lost my faith"… "Why were you late? My petals lost there brightness… my odor is barely sensed"… "I don't want to die like someone who came for nothing"…

"Oh! My sweet flower of life!" said the bee… "I missed you so much"… "I left my home to come & see you"… "You were the most beautiful one on earth & you are always the same"… "But I see you are misevaluating yourself"… "Don't you see everything is ok?!"…

"I felt the time eating me my little bee" said the flower… "I felt the seconds a day, & the day a year when you were away"… "When I was born I sent you a message with the soft breeze… and since then I'm hearing your sound around… filling my ears… but even I couldn't see you… I heard your voice even while sleeping… he didn't stop until I'm not sleeping anymore"… "Do you see? I missed you until becoming weak"…

"I'm here my dear… at least now" said the bee… "I was signing the universe with my name so I can return one day to my home"… "I'm so sorry it took all this time"… "I missed you, I needed you and still"… "Yes, I need you to reach my destiny"… "I need you to become a king as my queen said"…

"Oh! Sweetheart! As I need you to become eternal!" said the flower… "Yes, it's my elixir that you need"... "Take the soul that is made just for you… fly back while signing again the world with our name… sign it again & again… so everyone will know how life is beautiful when we are together… when unified"…

A soft kiss filled the atmosphere with the most beautiful smell… no one sound but the bee wings song… the flower's petals were contracting with every musical note…
It was a moment of love… the bee left glorious a flower that became grains… while he signed the sky with beauty…
He reached his real home finally; he put the gift in the hexagons… and he received for that the queen's crown …
A second day has risen, and hundreds of bees met the life to replay the same story…

Music

Music Fiesta, Paris, France
Sassine El Nabbout Photography
She moves... goes up and down... and every beat of our heart follows her...
With her, our soul wears wings, to fly in the world of feelings and imagination...
How many times we thought that she is just a musical instrument sound?!... Instead the reality that she is the holy feeling that affect every feeling... that she is the expression of expressions...
She is contradictory as us...
She is a laugh and a tear...
She is a love and a hate...
She is a time of peace and a time of anger...
She helps the melting of our crystallized tears... and moving rapidly our dance of happiness...
She is the friend of solitude...
She is better sometimes than a word or a sentence...
We hear her not only by our ears, but by our heart and body...
We touch her... she touches us...
How and why?!
Just because she enrobes us, since our first breath and cry... she follows us in all the moments of our life... and at requiem, she covers us with the most creative type, that is not and cannot be made by humans, but by angels... the silence...

A Dream From Above

Aadbel From Above, Satellite Pic

I used every night to watch the sky... my back touching the ground... and i don't stop counting the stars... every light amazes me... every color...
I stayed for long hours, followed the lights dancing in the horizon and disappearing above the clouds hitting my atmosphere...
It is what i did, instead of sleeping early... we were not supposed to have a normal life, to leave our houses at night... the war was guarding the roads of my town and country...
These stars were my only dream at night... my only space to go out... i was a prisoner of the time and the place... While i didn't choose to be a Lebanese, neither to be born the first days of the civil war...
I used to cry in the darkness, in the loneliness... while i know that no one can see me...
No electricity, no television, no radio, no music... and sure no money...
We missed the life while we didn't knew what is it... we had the fear of death, while we didn't know also what it is...
One day, while watching the stars, i saw a small star moving and moving... she crossed the spherical atmosphere above me... i went hurry to call my dad, while saying in a high voice: Dad... Dad... a star is moving... He smiled while saying: it is a satellite... something the humans send to explore the sky and the earth...
I will not hide that day, being an astronaut took my heart...
I liked always to see my world but specially my village from above... well i did that in my imagination, even before seeing this picture...
I always flied in my dreams and still doing it...

The Power Of Life

Paris, France
I was always amazed by the power of nature...
Not only the destructive cyclones, nor the sky lightening…
I love this silent power… that can sometimes pass without interest…
It is really a miracle happening beside us everyday…
How can a dry branch be full of these beautiful colors?
I feel the angels being hyperactive, painting every scene in our life garden…
Knocking on our heart door while saying : wake up, it is another day…

Medieval Celebration, Chambort Castle, Loire

Sassine El Nabbout Photography

I had really the chance that day to assist to this "medieval celebration". In the background was the Chambort Castle, the known house of all the kings of France having the name "Louis". The colors were amazing. I stayed on the road side, a little high, and i took this album. They transported me back to one of the beautiful walks that happened long time ago. It is very normal to feel that because of the well done design.

The Oldest Agricultural Product

An 11,400-year-old fig found near Jeriha City (left) may be the result of the earliest known form of agriculture, scientists say.The ancient fig is similar in size to a variety still cultivated in Iran (middle) but is considerably smaller than a more common Turkish type (right).

Underwater Volcano & Two Surprises

A new and important discovery, an underwater volcano in Northern Mariana Islands near Guam.
It has been going through nearly constant low-level eruptions since at least 2004, when it was first observed, Embley says. It could potentially keep erupting for decades, giving scientists the opportunity to monitor its growth.
Two other surprises were seen by the scientists: communities of microscopic bacteria and two species of shrimp living at the volcano.

Bazbina

Sassine El Nabbout Photography
A small beautiful village in the Akkarian heights (900m above sea level), mixing the natural beauty and the peaceful nature of it's people... and for sure another successful example that Christians can live side to side with Muslims... you really can see the mosque near the church... as they stayed like that even since the bad civil war... and I'm sure that she will stay lifelong...
Bazbina, a prototype of the majority of Akkarian villages, has many sons in the Lebanese Army, many agricultural fields, but a majority immigrating to outside Lebanon (www.bazbina.com).
I encourage you to visit their site witch contain many news and memories.
Something to remember there is the national reserve, witch is so rich in water (draining the Kamoua heights), flowers and the most beautiful scenes.
Enjoy it's album:

Will That Day Come?!

You must know that the dryness already started in many countries...
Urgent attention is to be taken...

From Flood to Drought

This false-color NASA image shows the approximate retreat of the Gangotri Glacier (source of the Ganges river in India) in the Himalaya mountain range between 1780 and 2001.
Because of global climate change, the glacier has been retreating at a rate of 23 meters annually, according to a WWF report.
Due to the global warming effect, (as many hundreds millions Tons of carbon dioxide and many other industrual gases are diffused in the atmosphere each year), glacial melting will increase the volume of water in rivers, causing widespread flooding. "But in a few decades this situation will change, and the water level in rivers will decline".
Until when we will continue to destroy our earth?!

Many Reasons... One Effect

Sassine El Nabbout Photography
This is not snow... these are flowers petals...
Why are they on the ground?!
There is many reasons... someones i know, but the others no...
Why?!
Is the spring ending?
Are the flowers pregnant now with fruits?
Is it just an endless cycle with temporary ends?!
Does someone shakes the mother tree?
Is it the wind? the rain? A human?!
Does their role finished? No need to more attraction?!
Why?!
Is there one reason!
What we know now is the effect!
The petals are covering everything!
They are dead! but even with their death they are a scene of beauty!
Why?!
Also many reasons...
Because there will be a next spring and a new age...
Because they are simply beautiful in every way...
