Php Sat Name

PHP-Sat was originally called PSAT. This stands for PHP Static Analysis Tool. This name should not come as a surprise.

When the time came to publish the project on a project-homepage we found out that the name domain psat.com was already taken by someone who had foreseen our tool. So we expanded the first part of the name to PHP. This domain was not taken and confusion about which programming language with a P this tool statically analysis was taken away.

But we could have told you that the name PHP-Sat stands for any of the following:

• PHP Super Analyses Tool
• PHP Sucks At Times
• PHP Sweet As Toffee
• PHP Strange Algorithmic Translator
• PHP Sings A Tune
