Hello,
I want to save my favorit Window Layout for all scenes,
wich I am working on.
My options are set to ->View ->Window Layout ->4 Viewports(Quad View)
This should provide 4 Viewports of the same size and will look like this:
Top left Viewport Top right Viewport
Bottom left Viewport Bottom right Viewport
Now I want this layout for all scenes I will open
and the Viewports should show exactly these scene views:
Top left Viewport: FRONT Top right Viewport: SIDE
Bottom left Viewport: TOP Bottom right Viewport: camera01
Does someone have an idea about that?

Hi Oliver,
It is easily done. Open MorayStart.mdl It can be found in
...\Moray For Windows\MDL
Right click the viewport windows and select the views then save. Every
new file should open with this layout.
I'm glad to see that you are using the layout my techy teacher taught. :-)

Hi Stephen,
Thank you alot for the answer.
I did what you told me.
(Saving MorayStart.mdl with my favorite layout)
But I found out some funny thing about my Moray-Installation
Starting Moray with modified MorayStart.mdl,
give me this layout:
Top left Viewport: empty Top right Viewport: TOP
Bottom left Viewport: FRONT Bottom right Viewport: SIDE
Now I can use the mouse to drag the Moray-Window down to the
bottom of my desktop so only the title menu is visible.
When I drag it back to the middle of my desktop
it finally shows me my desired favorite layout.
Sometimes I have to repeat this procedure several times.
Funny, maybe a bug?
But anyway, thank you again for your tip
Regards to you and your techy teacher,
Oliver

I seem to remember that there is a drop down menu somewhere in Moray
where you can choose the layout option that you want. Probably in
View/WindowLayout/.

The option that Thomas mentioned can be found here: View > Window layout
(Shift + W). It does not seem to be remembered when you restart Moray,
though.
Make sure that you are using the correct MorayStart.mdl. To make sure
that you are using the right one. View > Configuration (Alt + o), Moray
tab. The paths are in the bottom section. You need to open the file via
File > Open Scene (F3) and not select it on the recently opened files
section. Try making a change to it then save and reopen. Were the
changes saved?
I am using Win 7 and had to change the compatibility settings to Run in
compatibility mode for Win XP (SP3) and Disable Visual themes. Every
time I run Moray, which is not often now, UAC asks if I want to allow it.
