What did you try to do? Normally, when you add a translational sweep to a
union or whatever, you get a warning, but the csg works correctly most of
the times.

Hi Thomas
I've tried to give a sphere and a transweep into a difference object in this
order. When Moray starts tries to evaluate CSG object ...and crash.

Deactivate auto-evaluation of CSGs...? *looks through settings*
Thought there was a setting for that.

Hm. I have no problem with this construct. Make sure though, that you do not
bevel the transsweep because that does not seem to render correctly.

Hi Tim
:( I didn' find deactivation in Moray..my fault:)
but in my scene there is a Mesh object (created from a cylinder and modified) it
could be other source of crash problem...?
uploded into Morey.Binary with same subject.
Thx all

OK. I got your mdl file.
All seems to work correctly, and I did not experience any crash, either when
evaluating csg or when rendering the scene. A few things you might do to
track down any problem:
- Be sure to render with POV-Ray version 3.5 !! Any later version is not
compatible with Moray 3.5
- Successively, take out objects and try to render until no crash is
occurring. That way you can pinpoint the offensive piece of code.
- Alternatively, or in conjunction, export the scene to POV using Render >
Export, and try to render directly the POV-Ray file in any version of the
software.
Hope this helps,
Thomas
