Where can I download 3DWin for Moray?
Hello,

I have been searching for an easy way to import multiple types of files into
moray 3.5 and came across a plugin called "3DWin for Moray". I have been
unable to find out where I may download it and have searched both on google and
on this support group for it. Would anyone know where I can download it or a
similar plugin or would anyone who already has the plugin be able to post it
here?

Thank you for your help.
Michael

That's strange Google didn't give you the answer, the 1st I got was
http://www.tb-software.com/.

there is Poseray, too, a free program which import a lot of 3D formats and
can output them to POV files or Moray UDO

 From the offical Moray page:

This package contains 3DWin, a 3D file format converter. IT INSTALLS a
Moray plugin that gives access to many 3D file formats. It outputs
POV-Ray and Polyray formats. It can also output a wireframe and a blobby
wireframe of the scene for POV-Ray.

There is no seperate 3DWIN-Plugin. It's in the programm package.

plugin for moray that exported Moray objects as meshes. That was before Lutz
added Mesh support.
If you contact Thomas from his website he will probably be able to help you. Or
you could just export as a mesh and convert using PoseRay.

Thank you Arne an d Stephen for your responses. Arne, I have checked the link
beside the paragraph you quoted and the link is dead. Just to let you know
I've been using Poseray for quite some time and can convert meshes for use in
Moray, but I was hoping to simplify this process with the 3DWin plugin.

Dear Michael,

TB-software has put development of 3DWin for Moray on hold, as
SoftTronics stopped Moray for Windows.

The main reason for this is that proper functionality of the plugin
dll needs some corrections in Moray code. As this fixes are not yet
implemented, 3DWin for Moray cannot deliver full product quality.

We decided to remove 3DWin for Moray from your portfolio.
As soon Moray development restarts, tb-software will restart 3DWin for
Moray as well.
